Domestoboto, 13 Feb 2019So you're suggesting they lose money on every phone sold?Way to twist my words.
They're already losing money. I suggest they do what HMD is doing but better. There is such a thing as "winning by default". Sometimes it's not about all the good you do, but the lack of dumb stuff you don't do. So yeah, LG, work smart not hard!

for a company that is almost nowhere to be seen,
one will think how come LG came up with these pricing, sd 835 is an old chipset (still good)
but do you (LG) really think , this is a very competitive price for such a device? (NOT)
        continue to digged in,

Is there a reason why almost all Android OS cellphone manufactures constantly change the name of their phones when they are released in another country or region? To me this would be really confusing for people, I don't understand why they just don't keep the same name.

The Apple iPhone XS Max and the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 for example use the same name no matter where in the world it's sold.

LG's mobile also sd835 !! can't understand this one: more than $500 tag price !!!

This is good move but for the spec for the price isn’t really matching. Xiaomi would eat this alive

Let's hope LG pulls a fast one, and makes their entire lineup as AndroidOne. I mean, their 2016-and-onwards OS is pretty decent, but so has Stock Android become mature in this period.

They can be profitable just by offering the basics: software support, IP Rating, Headphone Jack, and Great Speakers and HDR-Screen. Just make sure you put the latest QSD chipset and price it to beat Samsung/match OnePlus. Simples.

Get bankrupt already ( just the phone part of the industry ), even though
I feel bad for the employees.

And just for the record I was really excited when G7 One was originally announced because it checked in all the right boxes for me (IP rating, decent power, great screen, clean android, good sound), but the price totally murdered the device that had a great potential.

Also right now I checked the shops in my country and G7 ThinQ (64GB version) is being sold for roughly 330€. The most expensive shops are asking for about 100€ more, which is STILL BELOW THE PRICE THEY'RE ASKING FOR THE Q9 ONE. Just let that one sink in.

Copy the cat, 12 Feb 2019Be ready.... Lg haters will be trolling and complaining for... moreIt's not trolling, the price is just plain stupid, they're asking 535$ for a phone with 2 year old chipset, if they released it a year ago it could've flied but not in 2019, they just waited too long with it. It's like selling a stale bread, you can't ask a full price for it.

But the biggest irony here is that LG G7 ThinQ's price has dropped so much from its release that right now you can get a brand new one for basically the same price as this renamed G7 One. Just think about it, they're asking the same price for the full product and it's watered down version. That's how absurd the LG's pricing policy is.

Be ready.... Lg haters will be trolling and complaining for the price.... Lol
