Dan, 18 Feb 2019Not boring at all, I always love to hear stories from fello... moreWell now you see. In 2014 i had Iphone 6 because everybody told you how this brand is awesome and so.
I give up after 3 months.
I hate when a device is trying to be much more clever than you so i sold it and switch back to android.
Anyway IOS was very compllicated it dont cooperate with windows without using any thing else like android phones. You must go trough itunes or some sort of other bloatware.
And many apps were confusing and bloatware, Also you are limited with a disk space and the charging is wevry slow and the battery last very short compared to android phones.
And 1GB ram is everything else but not good for gaming.

Xiaomi's own website is the largest seller of the RN7. Taobao, TMall, Gome and Suning also have huge smartphone sales. JD might be the most popular e-commerce platform for phones, but it's not dominant like Amazon is in the US.

My experience on updates:
Mi 2 ($320) got 5 year of MIUI updates, including 2 Android version updates. Redmi Note ($165) got 4 years of MIUI updates.
Galaxy Note 2 ($663) got 2 years of updates incl 2 Android versions. Notes 3 and 5 got about the same.

Dan, 16 Feb 2019I was a huge Samsung fan and have had 5 Galaxy Notes in the... moreIn past i had many brands. Siemens , Samsung, Sagem, Sony Erricson, Motorola, Nokia Apple 6 back in 2014 for 3 months etc.
As time flew some brands failed me more and some less.
But from like 2012 i stick to the chinese started with Huawei Y5, then i had Lenovo Vibeshot and now my daily driver is X4 Motorola.
What i want to say?
Time will tell which brands are worth to continie with and which arent worth.
In my case has been proven more the phone is cost more problems with it arises.
Just for example U8i Vivaz made by Sony Erricson cost me 500 euros brand new.
In 2 years it went so many times for repair that you woudnt believe its opossible.
Its either touch screen permanently frozen or sliding physycal keyboard did not work at all.
Lot of phones before i had was well working for like year or two and then suddenly all become problematic.
Only a chinese brands lasted more thn 2 years and old Nokia and Motorola which i had.
I can write more but i dont want to bore you with my comments.
But in other words i give up on most expensive phones and midragers are just fine with me.

Xiaomi sells much cheaper but at awesome quality compared to apple whis sells at awesome quality but its not cheap a bit.
In other words not everybody needs phone for 1600 bucks or for 800 the cheapest apple.
Many customers looking for the best for most affordable price like is Redmi note 7 for example or A2 lite.
Xiaomi will always outsell apple by a mile.

T... moreActually better quality. I have a Galaxy Note 2 that was bought around the same time as the Mi 2, and it's had far more hardware and software problems, such as AMOLED burn in, a glitchy USB port, lag, app crashes and random restarts etc.
Paid $663 for the Note 2, and $320 for Mi 2

There is no need to pay 2-3 times more for equaly same product from different brands.
As soon as people stop supporting expensive brands they will have to lower its prices to bargain to compete with other brands a lot cheaper ones.
Curently nor Samsung, Sony or Iphone can compete with Xiaomi bbecause for a much less price you get equaly in quality device.

Xiaomi should get their ODMs (such aa Wingtech and Foxconn) to crank up production on the RN7. The listed price should be the highest price consumers will pay for a phone.

There are just companies who sells cheap because they cherrish every customers and those brands who sells very expensive to rob their customer and act like they buying quality product.
If xiaomi woudnt be quality product they wouldnt be top 4 manufacturer.
Increased price doesnt means increased quality.
And even most expensive things or brand new can breaks like the most cheap ones if you have a bad luck or day.
