Sony Xperia FOREVER, 14 Feb 2019I bought a wireless charger for my phone and it's a usb typ... moreI do not know if type c will surpass and standerdise the connection between devices. I use type c more then 3 years now and is still only to be seen in smartphones, by 90% of the products. Type c should have allready taken over if would have been properly embraced. But minding the fact of how things work here i kind of doubt this form will eventually be a standard for all. I do not know why is like this, but it is. Maybe they want to milk the cow as long as they can and before making it a real standard, to be a premium future. But well that's another story.

Trollhammeren, 14 Feb 2019There are , but i don't see how 1 f connector makes so much... moreThe connector isn't really expensive, but the people who buy these phones probably have micro USB cables from other devices, so in a way this is easier for them. USB C will be in budget phones eventually, it'll just take some time

Anonymous, 13 Feb 2019I don't think any budget phone has usb cThere are , but i don't see how 1 f connector makes so much difference price wise , it's just gauging .... OH YOU WANT A REVERSIBLE CABLE ? well go buy a more expensive phone...

Microusb is actually ... moreI bought a wireless charger for my phone and it's a usb type c... and i know the progress to migrate from microUSB to type c will take time but the production of microUSB will be succeeded by the type c.. and yeah this might take time for those companies!

Sony Xperia FOREVER, 13 Feb 2019all what you say doesn't make any sense even for matters th... moreHow people say stuff without knowing. Microusb is actually still used by a lot of companies everywhere in the world, 99% of the bluetooth speakers that can be charged with a powerback use microusb and tge list goes on an on and on. Just because a small field of deviced, namely smartphones, change to type C, does not mean the micro version is extinct. The world in not just around you house and smartphone, ja know? Good. As for a 90 $ device, people can't expect typec and fast charging. If one expects that, well, he probabbly never attended school.

This is just monopoly now. A lot of manufacturers release their phones with last-gen OS, then provide 2 OS updates to that. It saves them effort & the user ends up missing out on 1 OS update that others do end up getting.

                      Not cool!

SD 845, 4GB RAM, Android 8.1 in flagship phone of 2019! Pie is out since last 6 months. Is Nokia launching Demo product for consumer testing? Looking at specifications & Nokia name, I am sure they will price it around $799-899. Better to skip this one & wait for its updated version to be released later this year.

The collaboration with l16 sounds slightly scary. The l16 was a superb concept with fuddy buddies leading the way with poor hardware configurations and expecting computational photography to bypass hardware limitations.

I Pray that Nokia has imaging sensors with DRAM (or extremely fast readout), way better and more ISPs and other things. I hope 4Gb and 6Gb RAM can handle the bandwidth needed for such high speed computational photography.
