One thing's for sure it won't cost a buck fifty lol and $500-$650 is too damn high for a phone with a mid-range SoC.

If Google is pushing a device, and you only use some budget phones for comparison, it would be an insult to them. IMO, Google is one of the top players in phone industries especially in the software department, and comparing their potential products with other top products is rational.

I like Pixel 3 camera a lot, BUT it makes faces look-too-hard and not the same in real life.. Just switched back to my canon for kinder shots for that part. Other than that - great

If the so called Pixel 3 Lite is released last October together with Pixel 3 and XL, it would certainly attract many customers. But when more phones with newer Snapdragon 855 and 5G was upcoming in the coming months, it seems it would not be a wise move for Google to push a mid-range device at the moment, which will certainly be a downgrade of Pixel 3 and XL so as to keep the original devices premium.

I am waiting for Pixel 4. Hope Google would be kind enough to provide at least 6 gig of ram, as 4 gig of ram is really not so enough and lagging is the main negative comment I have for Pixel 3. For the camera, I have faith in the power of Google and it should be fine.

Bring the product asap and keep prices low otherwise like Apple cases, consumers will get confused which one to go for old/year end pixel 2 or late commer highly priced plasticky inferior lite version.

as long a notch doesn't invade the smaller model. and the Headphone jack might be revived for pixel 4. I MIGHT buy the pixel 4 for it's SD855

When do you think, they are gonna bring this product to market, when Pixel3/XL becomes old and prices gone down below $600 and expect to price the Lite version for $400-500 for far inferior chipset, camera (front&back), display and features??!!? Come on Google, grow up, bring it now or never,
Regarding price, I'm expecting a bit higher than competitors but for Lite Pix 3 it should never go more than $300.

Any phone, no matter the brand, with SD625 in 2019 is nothing but a joke. Atleast put 630 if not 636.
