Frankly, thick hp with big battery fulfills the need for some people but a no-no in sales. It's a niche product. When compared side by side with foldable hp, consumers will opt for the trend. That is why phone makers are jumping onto the foldable trend.

But I used to use a Vaio laptop in a portable camera inspection unit that took a beating and the only failure was the screen light went out after 6 years of use, 8 hours a day monday to friday. So I beg to differ on that. Now I work at an Ag dealership that only uses Lenovo laptops and these things again take an a$$ whooping and keep going. I've yet to see a Dell last more than 2 years in a comfy home atmosphere.

Ayva, 14 Feb 2019Good luck carrying that in your pocket. No luck needed. I'll be just fine. My only issue is that I live in the US; a market Energizer doesn't feel like reaching out to so this phone is probably a no-no for me. Waiting on a Battery-filled similarity from Ulefone or Blackview.

A phone that has a really nice design AND a gigantuar sized battery, that's very rare to have both. Also they finally put a very capable midrange SoC, P70, on par with S660 unlike other previous big battery phones from unpopular Chinese brands which had unimpressive SoCs, the P23.
The phone's thickness..well, it is VERY THICC at 18mm although when you think about it, fitting in 18000mAh in 18mm which equates to 1000mAh per mm seems outstanding compared to like the Mi Max 3 with its 5500mAh battery and 8mm thickness, which is 687.5mAh per mm.
I expect this battery use will come very handy during a 1 week trip or camping. Realme U1 with P70 and 3500mAh has a battery endurance of 93h based on GSMArena, multiply by 5 and you get a whopping 465 hours, probably way way less but still high. You could game on it a whole day or two and it would still have some juice.

I'd say that 4000 mAh~5000mAh for 5.5"~6.2" screen with 14nm chipset is already pretty damn good for me.
It's not too large or heavy and it will survive a day worth of heavy usage.
18000 mAh is just way too much. Tough if they manage to make close to 10000 mAh phone with thickness under 1.5 cm and weight under to 250 gram, it would be one hell design achievement and i won't mind to buy one.
