This is DOA.. no one in their right mind would buy this junk for 14k. There are so many better phones out there at the same price range. If you're loyal to Moto, there's the One Power which costs just 2k more, but is vastly superior than this crap

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2019Gaming enthusiast won't bother with phone for gaming at all...Did u see the marketshare break down of gamers in terms of revenue generation and numbers as of 2018? Smartphones now lead PC and Consoles(all of them combined) in both fronts.

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2019Gaming enthusiast won't bother with phone for gaming at all...as much as i want to agree with your sentiment, there are shitloads casual gamer and even core-gamer who now game on their phone for MOBA titles or PUBG and such.
mobility and bigger local community give smartphone gaming and edge over pc and console gaming.

and as someone who bought a phone in november, i see a lot of them goes for Redmi Note 5 ai or Asus Max M1 pro due to its decent pricing, big battery, and SD636.
well RealMe 2 Pro wasn't a thing yet back then

Anonymous, 14 Feb 2019better still, one could get a max pro m2, or a realme 2 pro... moreyup, i'm not sure on the price and availability so haven't mention RealMe 2 Pro, Asus Max M2 Pro, or Redmi Note 7 where they "should be" priced on within G7 power price range but all of have SD660 instead of SD632.

Seriously, G7 should've use SD636 for Play and Power. SD660 for G7, G7+. In that spec it won't fight that much of uphill battle against RealMe, Asus, and Xiaomi.

That being said, Samsung M-20 is using Exynos who are closer to SD632 (but more power efficient), the same 5000 mAh, arguably better looking, mediocre camera and priced similarly.

Well, it's decently priced, but its an uphill battle for G7 power, especially when its under-specced against its competitor. No dual cam which may cause casual buyer to prefer the competitor. Also it have SD632 vs competitor SD636 where it have adreno 506 instead adreno 509 where gaming enthusiast will immediately choose the latter.
