In my country presently the LG V30+ and LG G7 thinq are available for around 350 and 370 euros respectively and Sony is launching mid range specs phones for the same price. Lol these phones should have been launched for 200 and 250 euros by Sony.

I think those leaks are fake. Xa2 had sd630 and 3300mah, why would they put a smaller battery and keep the same processor? And what happened to that design where there were small simetrical bezels? Can't wait for mwc to see what's true and what's not

IMO, build quality has more cost..!! The missed ring it is: 1. Marketing especially in Middle East and North Africa also great warranties..!!!

Rather buy pocophone a lot bettr specs for a much less price.
Even Z5 pro GT made by lenovo cost 400 euros and offers SD855 and 12GB of ram.
Huawei P20 Pro cost around 500 euros and is a lot better phone.
Sony? Just get out of the market finaly.

About the same ... moreThe quality brand is a chimera in this type of products. It is good to try to deceive people justifying high prices. They carry the same components as others and in this case even some lower ones for a price much higher than the competition. The construction materials are basically the same. There are many good quality designs and brands to choose from. Simply the name of a brand today does not justify the prices. And the import taxes are the same for all brands.
Times change, people are more informed about what they buy. Putting an ad on TV with small print that no one can read it and pass at full speed is no longer useful. We are not reading this website and others without reason. The faithful to certain brands will continue to preach the quality motto to justify prices that are too high. But the graphs of sales and market analysis make it clear that whoever spends in a high range today even with incentives keeps it for more years and who likes to change annually opts for the mid-range that gives the best performance / price leaving aside from the "premium word" for those who do not see it. Samsung, etc, are already lossing market due to the same. Although Samsung in particular are trying to offer alternatives but still without reach what the potential customers are looking for. And each time customers wait less time for the price drop. It'll be interesting watch the next market analysis at the fall of this year.

I'm following this XA3 since October and can't believe they can't put a f.. SD660 in it. Who care about SD630 ?? If they put the SD630 I'm definitely done with Sony after 6 years

Lately I don't care about pricing, performance, camera or any spec really. However, marketing names are just rediculous!
"Cinema wide" display? Just call it a TV remote with a screen and get it over with!
Or maybe make a phone with 10 inch display and 60:9 form factor (I didn't do the math) and call it "linear display" which offers unparalleled slimness!

No thanks. I value my money enough to avoid overpriced phones like these ones too. At the end the sales speak the things clearly. Overpriced phones as a lot flagships and these and other "called or alleged" premium are in the downhill directly to the bottom sales while reasonable mid-range phones plenty of features, enough peformance and quality components are increasing their sales. Increase the price of their mid-range phones will not fool us, because now we have a lot of options and phones to choose independently of the brand and country.
The decline of the greedy companies already has started, or they adapt their offer and prices or they'll flop till dissapear in the mobile map.
