What will be hot, must refer to coming up announcement of new technology and new features. There is no way to bragging if every leaks still on paper.

All those brands make a great improvement. Especially samsung, lg, and nokia.
Except sony.
Sony shouldn't be inculded in the list. Because sony can only make a very small tiny improvement. Change the screen ratio to 21:9. That's it. No more.
The end of this brand is near.

Buy Chinese phones all you want, but a big F--- you for saying that Sony and other premium brands are overpricing things.
If not for their developments, your beloved Chinese brands won't have that good quality hardwares.
Chinese hardware will never compare to those that actually invest into R&D.
All these years, the premium brands are busy researching for something new to bring to the table, while Chinese brands are waiting on what's new to 'Ctrl C + Ctrl V' from those premium brands, but worse though at cheaper price.

Oh please.... moreS5?
Poor cheap plastic build, even low end from other brands had better plastic construction.
Poor waterproofing. Even the jack had to be covered.
Mono speakers.
4K limited to 10min.

Oh please.... moreOh and I forgot that that phone also had Inductive (wireless) charging AND an FM-radio.
Sure the QI-charging was an optional accessory but it wasn't expensive and made the phone much better looking and better handling. And the IR-blaster wasn't 2 way like on the HTC models from that era or e.g. the Huawei/Honor models that came later and had 2-way IR-blaster) but that's just nitpicking.
So in essence I think that the S5 was the most complete phone ever produced.
Funny that nobody has ever created a such a full complete product again.
So I challenge manufacturers to create the most feature complete phone EVER using today's technology! I say you are all chickens! You can't do it, you are too incompetent, too lame and too afraid. I challenge you all!

I think Nokia 9 is the only phone that is still a mystery. Even tho it was leaked long time ago, longer than S10 but we still have no idea what this phone can do.
I really liked when 808 was announced back in 2012. Everyone said "you got a typo. 14Mp Not 41MP, right?

The last Oracle, 17 Feb 2019I am waiting for the S10. It will be the most complete phon... more"....It will be the most complete phone. ..."
Oh please. Samsung HAD their most complete phone 5 years ago. The Galaxy S5. Big (at that time) bright Amoled screen, big (at that time) user replaceable battery, fast SoC, great camera (at that time) and literally all the connectivity available, cc. wifi, BT (including audio enhancements like AptX & A2DP), GPS, LTE, NFC, infrared (IR-blaster) and a standard 3.5" audio jack.
Now THAT phone was a truly complete phone. Everything else since then is a compromise not just from Samsung!
But for me, every Samsung phone that came after the S5 is a bad joke!

The last Oracle, 17 Feb 2019I am waiting for the S10. It will be the most complete phon... moreOppo showcased the prototype in 2017 at CES .... The company purchased by Sammy was just 100 million. Why didnt BBK purchase that company if they were so cheap?
This 5x and 10x will be even worse than the current 3x fake optical zoom used at the moment.
When a " tele" is used parallel is need 3 or 4mm. Changing to 90 degrees the space required is much more. Just a 1/3.4" has 5mm diagonal. Then you have the size of the whole module at will be 6 or 7 mm. Then you add OIS, more 1 or 2mm ...
Final size of whole "tele" module would be 9mm or more.
Consequence is that a smaller sensor 1/4" or worse has to be used. The photo quality will be shitty, not even on pair with a 2011 flagship.

r33fd, 17 Feb 2019Voted for Samsung cause they usually bring the best hardwar... moreGreat ...
Same 12MP 1/2.55" that becomes useless above iso400 and wrong daylight white balance.
Bloatware that cant be disabled and keep running in the background.
Loud speakers with quality below than HTC flagship 2014.
Part of screen lost to the ridiculous selfie "solution".
Screen that after gsmarena measurements will show worse delta than s7 edge ( only galaxy below 1.1).
"Sound screen" which earpiece only allows you to hear if your ear touches the screen.
In-screen FPS that needs screen protector to be cut ...

AnonD-731363, 17 Feb 2019I hope for Nokia and Xiaomi rest epecialy Samsung Sony and ... moreHuawei P and Mate series cost as much as other brands. If devices from Xiaomi , Oppo, Vivo and OnePlus were that good their flagships would sell more than P/Mate ...
Look at OP6T...
No hdr screen, no slot sd, no stereo audio, no ip rating, useless second cam, just 1080p midrange oled, If they start to add all this, no way they sell for less than $800.
Xiaomi lacks some stuff too...
Chinese brands work mostly with cheaper local suppliers, just online stores out of China, no costumers support all over the globe, UI with adds like miui, except OP the other are very slow with updates, most just copy other brands to save money from R/D.

What is with Meizu? Really hoping for the Meizu 16s reveal (and that is has a 6.2 or smaller screen and a 4000mAh battery.
All other phones are really boring and most of them just to big.

Days ago Phone Arena wrote an article that says the Galaxy F would be like Axon M.
And now there is a commercial from Samsung on tv that a woman is using the device, it is easier to see it really looks like two note9 glued to each other.
What a fail....

I hope for Nokia and Xiaomi rest epecialy Samsung Sony and LG can pack it garbage and stay home. Phones which cost 3-4 times as its manufacturing price are out of my options.
I have no problems to afford expensive phone. My problem is i dont support companies which rob their customers.
If a chinese Xiaomi or Huawei for example can make a decent flagship for a decent money with equal performance with others much more expensive phones there is no reason to support these thieves which will rob you.
When we stop support this thievery they will have to reduce its pricing and then they become competitive to chinese brands.

"The Galaxy S10 trio will arrive with choices for every budget"
The rumoured price is around €800, it's not exactly acceptable to say it like that.

I am waiting for the S10. It will be the most complete phone. The Oppo 10x zoom will be like the Oppo 5x zoom. Meaning that it will not make it to any production smartphone which will be a top listed smartphone at DXO Labs. The periscope zoom module has a lot of issues with light loss. Some of those can be corrected, but it will be expensive and requires a redesign.
I am also waiting for the Huawei P30 Pro. Though that won't be coming for another month or two.

The FLOOD of SMARTPHONE is coming. Just like Techtober in 2018.
All these devices are very exciting. But Galaxy S10 is most anticipated device as this is 10th Anniversary of Galaxy S series.
This year 2019 is full of anticipation and enthusiasm.
