I feel that something is wrong,samsung clzims that bokeh can be done without the depth sensor by the exynos 9610,so 3rd cam wont be depth as it will be useless.

      Damn, on the early photos it looked fairly compact, but it turned out to be just about useless phablet.

          It is very unfortunate that Samsung had to ditch its notchless design language as Chinese brands dominated the smartphone (especially low and midrange) market with their notched devices. Look at that phone. It has a notch that ruins video playback and gaming. Anyway, this phone will have a solid battery life with not very long time to fully charge thanks to its 4000mah battery with 15W fast charging. Exynos 9610 is probably better than SD660. SuperAMOLED screen will offer an unmatched display quality (apart from Samsung flagships.) Triple camera setup should be very good for this price range. (Unfortunately, there is no OIS and telephoto snapper.) Under display fingerprint scanner may be an attention grabber. In my opinion, it will sell well unless priced over 450USD.

            The top-dog.... without OIS, of course they forgot again the FM Radio. Where are the stereo speakers for a top-dog? The only expensive will be the price, as usual. Another overpriced one upcoming.

Reason would say they will use plastic instead of glass to make the price, not competetive, but at least acceptable taking in consideration the Samsung branding. Then again, it's Samsung, reason doesn't apply, remember this is the company that sold people a sd450 device for more than 400$.

                              Indian price for A-50 most probably is 37,999 Rupees.
                              For other parts of the world 500$ as per Samsung's pricing strategy.

                                  OEMs: Asks yourselves - could the sizes of today's phones has anything to do with declining sales?

                                  Where are they getting the ideas that 99% of the buyers want mini tablets for phones? I may be underestimating as iPhones SE and Sony compact may not for 1% combined of what is being offered on the market.

                                    The main problem would be the Exynos chipsets.
                                    Unless the community for developers of those SoCs is large enough, it would be next to impossible to use a good custom ROM on Samsung phones powered by those chipsets.
                                    Not to mention, it might be impossible to have Google Camera installed on those phones, but that's pretty much the same case on most Chinese competing devices, except for Xiaomi, which is definitely the leader when it comes to software developments.

                                      And then there is xperia X10. Samsung is going to drown in profits now.

                                        It's nice that Samsung is stepping up its mid-range game. They also need to have multiple camera options and more sensor options too.
