Buy this phone if you dont mind the camera quality. Samsung has the worst camera on midrange devices are way more expensive than the competition. I dont understand who else buy their products in India.

Much better phone than the M20 due to the AMOLED screen, should've used SD660 though.

Next comment:
- M30 amoled at full hd resolution is inferior to ips because highly possible this amoled is lower end for cheaper devices. Don't compare to S/Note series which all have much higher resolution (although even these amoleds still have many reported problems). I prefer quality ips at full hd.
- exynos in my exp is worst than snapdragon in performance, signal strength, reliability. Exynos is good, just not excellent as higher end snapdragon, but samsung almost certainly must continue using exynos for midranges.
Except these 2 points and the price premium samsung is charging, other specs are fine and this device can compete.

Reasons to Buy Amoled:- Better Quality, More Colorful with added colors, True Black, Suitable in Night conditions, Less Battery consumption, U can't go for high brightness every time like IPS etc...
Reasons to Buy IPS:- High Resolution, More Bright colors, True Black, For Long Use, Never Burn, 50% less battery consumption compared to Amoled, More Real colors, High brightness, etc...

Not sure about how M30 would perform. But I would have trade in some more money for a better camera on M20.

Yes AMOLED has slightly better efficiency in power consumption but not that much than IPS LCD so that you make hype of it.
Yes Samsung flagship has better AMOLED display but you also should consider other companies flagship IPS displays like iphones display
And yes I have mentioned about back light of IPS LCD, I just said LCD display emits same amount of light all the time read it carefully.

Ah...forget it, we are now living in the age of same/similar design of phone (but all call it smartphone).
I hope whatever the brand is, if they have a flagship phone, please design it as your signature design as most non-flagship phone has similar design.

Truth, 19 Feb 2019Yes IPS is better than AMOLED its bitter but it's the truth... moreAMOLEDs have excellent color gamuts, exceeding standard color spaces by a wide margin, and color reproduction. Please read any recent review on GSMArena for a phone with an AMOLED panel (S9, Note9, Note8, S8, S7...) before saying outdated information.
Also, you did not factor the backlight of IPS screens in your power consumption comparison so it is flawed.

I like how SAMSUNG's trying to change their strategy with their relatively new M series smartphones, it feels a little, if not more competitive, based on the specifications and the price I guess. But of course, the one thing that bugs me is their design; it looks like some Chinese ripoff of some sort in my opinion. I really wonder, is it that hard to just make two strips of thin bezel, top and bottom, symmetrical to each other (well usually brand manufacturers would do this), instead of having a notch and a chin?

Amoled vs IPS:- What is Amoled????? A Mixture of Colors with OLed True Black which consume less battery when ur phone have black theme or black Wallpaper.... What is IPS???? A Mixture of colors with LCD Display which also include Black but it consume 50% battery compared to Amoled..... The resolution shine more in IPS but still people love Amoled because Amoled Feeling little bit better than IPS.... But still I Love Both IPS n Amoled:)

Here's what I think about OS... moreOS of all brand is the same which is Android. The brands make User Interface based on Android. Stock Android (or Android One, or Android Go) s an original User Interface from Google that use for any brand, except for Google Pixel phone.
So, if all OS of any brands you can name is Android. The User Interface of any brands you can name is different, Samsung with OneUi now, Xiaomi with miUI and so on...
Hope it can clear your definition.
