I was watching a clip on channel 9 today. It's gonna cost something crazy like 2700 Aussie dollars in Australia. I thought A$1100 was a hard pill to swallow when I bought my trusty Note5 in 2015. But this? This is insane pricing!

AnonD-241270, 19 Feb 2019things like that make me tell to brands to go to h... wh... moreOh well, I was the same with you if you consider yourself as the Samsung Hater, hater gonna hate hate hate. I was #1 Samsung hater since Samsung was a rival of Nokia long time ago. I hate everything about Samsung, particularly its TouchWiz.
After trying and analysing the user interface of new SamsungUi (called Samsung Experience), I feel that Samsung is waking up and do the best in its UI. Even, they have newer UI, OneUI which I haven't try yet.
So, I am not the Samsung hater anymore but I am not the lover too. I still hate Samsung because of its overpriced phones.

You know mate, when all specs, all features, all techology and the design look the same among the brands whatever they are, the UI will be the final assessment. I appreciate Samsung for its UI, something that Chinese phones or others put it far far behind the specs and the price.

The first Apple foldable device will be called iBend.
        The end.

How would the other OEMs be reacting with this innovation? Will there be any wrist band phone coming up? -,-

Nobody has commented "Why two 2000mAh batteries? Why not two 4000mAh batteries?!" yet? I'm surprised.

Cant wait for this innovation! The Royole Flex Pai may the the first foldable phone but this one will be much better. Expecting a super expensive price because foldable phone is just the begining. Btw, I also want to see all Chinese phone fans and salesman come here and say this is not an innovation, ugly, overpriced junk, gimmick, etc. I've seen that they only appreciate their own Chinese innovations and talk bad about other OEMs innovation

Very competitive, China brands hungry to surpass Samsung.
Samsung have to reveal the new technology first, hopefully is that sharp bend, uncreased at the center kind of display.

If Huawei can manage to squeeze a 7.2inch screen on the Mate 20x without it being a foldable, and still it appears manageable I wonder how lovely their foldable phone would be.

AnonD-241270, 19 Feb 2019things like that make me tell to brands to go to h... wh... moreThe whole point is to turn a phone (folded) into a tablet (unfolded). If you don't know, tablets are always square-ish, as they're meant to be used for various content, which includes but is not limited to multimedia content.

Also, the phones of today are already poor for multimedia consumption. Most movies/tv shows & such are still made for 16:9 displays, so you end up with black bars on modern 18:9 or wider phones anyway, unless you zoom in or stretch, in which case you lose some content or quality respectively. So what you're asking for is equally as bad as what you're getting, as per your own viewpoint.

I think I like the Xiaomi phone better, with the double fold, but I would like to see a comparison between the two, when they come out!
