if i were a game/app developer, i will developed for ios! who wants to develop quality apps/games on a OS where everyone are just downloading free apps? and i believes many ppl use the cracked version! and you dont have to jailbreak or do anything to use that!

how about gsm arena comes to the rescue and makes a nice compare-athon for the 2 markets...like a nice gift for christmass :D
compare like at least 10-15 categories with apps on both sides. compare the price to features ratio, availability and i dont know...just do something creative....but take 2 app on each side for all the 15 categories.
or say only 10 categories but 3 apps on each side. a free app, a cheap app and the most expensive. for each of the 2 sides.

Looking Into benchmarks it was the first dual core tablet which shipped in " volume" and earliest tablets to adopt dual core and Xoom was $800 and if u look at other tablets.
Benchmark them only galaxy tab 8.9 (recent model) comes close to iPad in terms of overall.
If u want to know more clearly. I am not talking about low-quality-stripped down 6-7 inch tablets.I am talking about tablets about 8 inches to 10 inches screen. Screen size is measured diagnally. So 7 inch tablets are about 3/5th size comparing 10 or 9 inch tablets

Simple: Android Market has a ton of free apps, and the devs get money from advertisement in the app.
Apple's App Store get money direcly from the app itself.
I prefer the Android Market way, as I can get an app, and if it's good, buy a full version without adds, iPhone users in other hand, already have more funds to pay for apps, as the phone itself isn't cheap, Androids came in lots of prices, so Galaxy SII or Xperia Arc users have more money to purchase apps than an Xperia X8 user.
Of course the apps aren't that expensive, but it's a matter of proportion.

all this means is apple tries to get as much money out of there customers as much as they can, simple! Android/SGSII rocks! simple! :-)

Android downloads excited iOS. Hmm so, iOS users spend 6x (actually more, because there are more downloads of Android) more money than Android users

android uses adds and sponsors as a means to pay up for most dev apps rather than ripping off customers considering they paid so much to acquire their products unlike apple. I can guarantee that 99.9% of apple fans chooses apple products over others because of the name and not the features or value for money. No one knows which company makes more profit than the other definately not based on revenue. apparently you cant specify the net profit of a business only on revenue. In terms of customer's satisfaction which would you prefer as a consumer on a specific product, the one you get for free or the one you get to pay for? You decide.

It's really funny! Because although android has much more... moreDude android is quality. Because of its open platform we get lots of features and new apps and newer android OS ever 6 months. half of the world is not mad to go to android if it was not for quality.
Look at apple they are running around and blocking android phones in different countries because of fear of android taking over.

I bet actually the downloads of apps in android phone is way more than apple. The reason why statistically its low is that in apple there is no choice for people to get apps other than more app store. whereas in android all the paid apps are always from warez sites as its very easy to get the apps for free. I have never bought any paid game in android market and always get it from other sources.. hence the download of android games is most probably more than iphone games.

iPad is the cheapest tablet out there with good processor and wide range of apps comparing Xoom , galaxy tab (7.7) etc.
Macbook Air also cheaper compared to Samsung laptops priced at $1299 and Asus (competitors to macbook air).
Cloud Service is free and OS X Lion/Snow Leopard upgrade costs as low as $30 (for 5 machines).
I agree that it ignores low-end market , but not High-Medium markets.
