After updates camera is unusable. Picture video bad. Xiaomi release too many new device without even fixing old device problems. company too hungry blinded by money and not care about customers. I am myself chinese and not suport xiaomi anymore. oppo, vivo, huawei, meizu better. I have vivo. wife will get huawei soon. xiaomi no more

They left it as it is FULL of bugs. Can you believe that? I steer clear of xiaomi or any other chinese phones. No more, lesson learnt. I have the latest Sony and I think people should look more at Sony now. Really amazing phone. No regret and great support from them in the forum.

how the DXO give that scores to this phone? it is really hilarious just look at the DXO photos and compares between mi9 and mate 20 pro according to those pics in zoom and bokeh effect mi 9 is really awful but in bokeh mi9 has better score than mate and in zoom its score is nearly as high as mate 20 pro and but in fact mi9 is awful i don't wanna supporting Huawei but it's pretty better i think it's paid....

How can they praise the autofocus when it does not even have OIS in none of the 3 camera modules? Dx0 was wrong about the Mi8 and again wrong about the Mi9. Do not look at Dx0 for any phones from Xiaomi. DO NOT! Buy the Mi9 and you will regret it later just as I regret buying the Mi8. The Xiaomi forum is full of complaints. MIUI is full of bugs and to make matter worst they kept removing feature after feature from my Mi8 like no 60fps at 1080p now which I had when I just got the phone. You will be better off with a Flagship from Samsung, OnePlus or Huawei. Consider Xiaomi only for Midrange.

If you look S10, and this phone, one is 1000 euros, another under 500, one have small U-notch, another black Galaxy hole, rest is more or less the same. I Think Galaxy black hole is real winner, because its 50% expensive it must be better in every aspect, at least 50%! Right?

Kaizen is great for eve... moreIf you are the mother country of kaizen.....definitely you can apply some " chess" moves and tackle future issues and so.... It can be applied in parallel by reverse origami in both... Soft and hardware! Cheers! BTW....it is insane to think that Chinese are somehow better than Japanese in these segments....

Mi has been improving its camera in marginal increments. I would have preferred to see a module with OIS.
DxOMark is mostly off the mark in their assessment.

Never trusted DxOMark's camera reviews as the scoring system went from "ok" to probably "garbage" by now after changing into the new "protocol" (as they like to call it) in 2017 if I'm not wrong. Like what u said, every new smartphone that came out either gets a tie with the current best or it broke the current best smartphone camera, and that's it. Even with paragraphs full of words (duh), their reviews weren't that great. Heck, I'd consider GSMARENA's camera reviews instead of theirs to be real honest
