Great for 1st gen of foldable screen formfactor.
Its strength is also its weakness.
That foldable screen is polymer which scratch very easy and only protected by raised bezels, you have to invest in film screen protectors that dont crease when folded.

Foldable phones should be folded to three not two. They shouldn't have two separate screens. Instead they should have one giant screen for all modes, but not like Xiaomi's foldable phone.
They should fold as an S shape (looking from the bottom of the phone). This way the 1st 1/3 of the screen would also be used as the outer screen while the 2nd and 3rd 1/3 parts are folded to inside.
This also provides the option to get rid of selfie cams all together. If you want to take a selfie, you can unfold only the first hinge of the device so that the main cameras on the back of the 3rd 1/3 is looking to you. Take selfies with the main camera, best selfies ever.
The only problem with single screen foldable phone design is the uneven wearing of the screen (other than the thickness).

Just like Tesla, Just like Iphone X, In time they will lower the price and/or provide a cheaper model once these innovations become competitive and mainstream. Great, another beautiful BETA phone :). Apple did that with iPhone X back in the days and now Samsung is trying his luck.
So, who wants to be a premium beta tester will buy this phone.

This Galaxy Fold has 6 cameras, all in all, 3 at the back, 1 at the front and 2 in the inside.
I wish they could make a slim, better looking and cheaper Foldable phone with only 2 or 3 Cameras at the back 1 or 2 in the front and nothing in the inside. Imagine where you unfold it with no notch inside..... For me it's perfect.

The bummer is it doesn't have a headphone jack. Boo! It gets annoying. Wireless headphones is going to destroy battery life. The lack of a microSD slot is no biggie if it has half a terabyte.

This is the greatest mobile product Samsung has ever announced. Better than the first Note or S6 edge. This is really going to change everything. Love the Willy Wonka music in that promo vid.

JMTM, 20 Feb 2019the outer screen is way way too small... basically telling... moreFor calling, texting and taking photos, you don't need a big-ass screen. You unfold it for internet browsing, media consumption and games only.

The display is very impressive. I was expecting a seam in the middle. From what I can see, the screen unfold very well as one big screen. Not quite sure about the form factor. Need to try it in person to say one way or another.

Mr. Electronics, 20 Feb 2019Those bezels for the front screen and that notch for the ta... moreThose bezel hiding all the connectors in front. Its like those Vivo phone with dual display. They cant do it bezel less both side. The notch aesthetically speaking I like it. It have somewhat modern sci-fi~ish touch. The bundle of cameras justifies it at least. Its actually hidden in portrait orientation. Overall, the most polished foldable phone I ever seen. UI integration also flawless. Go watch the unpacked event if you havent. Even the folded seam is flawless.

Do you really need a selfie camera at all times; that notch spoils a great piece of tech.
