How is 3840x1664 a 4k display? One side is not enough. It has 6.3MP compared to 8.3MP of a real 4k.
If they make it 3840x100,would it stillbe a 4k?

Well i am not xperia user but i really like their phone. This is the only company who put safety and security of devices on first priority. I had samsung and iphone xs, both are beautiful devices but broke their screens twice due to thin bezels.

Seriously Sony, if you want a shot at a comeback, you should make this phone available NOW and price it lower than the S10e. By the time the Xperia 1 is available later during the year, people have already bought phones like the S10 series, LG G8 and V50 series, Mi 9 and soon the Huawei P30 series.

i was all against this new aspect ratio until i finally saw this on video in youtube. it does not translate to real life usage, i know, but i think for now i'll hope this catches on. sony mobile needs it.

Sony too little too late. They're already late when it comes to new features and now they're gonna be releasing the phone way too late. By the time that phone is available, people have already bought phones like the S10 series, Nokia 9, LG G8 and V50, Xiaomi Mi 9 and Oppo phones, and soon Huawei P30 series.

Socalteknique, 25 Feb 2019EVERYTHING was looking great until I read the battery size.... moreyeah plus it's a 4K panel. but better wait for reviews to see how well the phone is optimized. previous sony phones had smaller batteries but i found them to last a day without any issue (not 4K panel though)..

3300 mah for 6.5 inch 4k OLED. o well.. 3300 is the same as xz3 with no upgrade. have to wait for battery test. 3 cameras and 1 with OIS (finally). but then they ditch the super high ISO AUBE fuse. Dont know this is equivalent to xz series or premium series although with the 4k display
