Imo Galaxy Fold is more beautiful and practical and they should name it Mate Fold or Mate Flex

It has no ugly notches like the Sammy one, that makes it 10 times better already.

Unless Huawei will start selling Mate X before Fold is available to consumer, the message won't be true.

Knowing Huawei, this will not only work very AND not lag, but it will probably have great battery life and push the boundaries much further than the Galaxy Fold.
I like the Galaxy Fold, it has an Old School, Nokia E90 Communicator look to it, but this is 2019 and we need to see something far more cutting edge, and the Mate X looks a lot more cutting edge than the Galaxy Fold.

I like Samsung's style more (1 outer screen and 1 inner screen, but why that corner notch though), but Huawei doesn't seem to be bad too, even though both of them are far from perfect. I like the Samsung's take more, because it hides the weaker screen (the bendable one) inside the phone, but Huawei can probably lower the price, because this way it shouldn't be that hard to make it (it has only 1 screen, it has bigger bending radius)

This also looks really silly folded, with a 3:1 ratio screen. The roll up "solution" will wear and break on months (or days).
This is a rushed me-too, by a company that's made its business on stealing other companies ideas.

hehehehehe ... Huawei already knows their "FOLD" is ugly and horrible when compared to Galaxy Fold. Probably that's why they didn't even try to mock Galaxy fold via their "Twitter" like they were mocking the S10 telephoto saying P30 telephoto is so much better than S10 zoom lens.

Galaxy Fold has ugly corner cut but don't have side bump.. don't know what is better (or worse), but using folded screen as switching half for primary or selfie camera - clever trick
