I was hype about Xperia 1, but actually its a bit letdown. New things are all about screens & video recording capabilities. Everything else pretty much the same & some worse than other competition, even the main shooter is a downgrade for Sony device. Sigh.
Eyes out for next Huawei P30.

Who actually need that 4K display on a phone. I have a phone with 4000mAh battery and sometimes i can get trough even 4-5 days with one charge

Sony is resembling nokia in their dying days..keep churning shit product one after another yet thinking it is good. nokia with their shit symbian and sony with their disgusting bezel and out of proportion screen..just simply give us the bezeless xperia with state of the art camera, latest chipset and you will sell more than your shit current design

This is so sad, I thought their premium line would keep to a normal 16:9 aspect ratio. Oh well, I'm on the XZ Premium at the moment, and then I shall go on to the XZ2 Premium, these 2 will hopefully last me a few years and then I shall have to decide what to buy, but I shall not buy these rubbish 21:9 phones, so silly.

Now instead of having black bars above and below a video, you will have them at each end since most video is shot in 16:9.
Brilliant, now we have even more worthless screen ratio.
