Now this would be a worthy contender for Huawei's Honor View 20. Both of them may use exactly the same Sony camera, but that doesn't mean they produce exactly the same photo quality. This should be interesting.

I cant get adblock and adquard to work in chrome for some reason i see still ads in there, but otherwise i have not seen any ads and i have not even turned off anything. Maybe it's based on region these popup ads. Try to change your region maybe that helps for you. With redmi note 5 AI it should have face unlock but works only if region is set to India

If come with Android One I will buy this phone but if not than I will not buy it doesnt matter how good it hardware specs. Sorry to say MIUI is not a cup of tea for me because I already own one Redmi phone it really bring headache to me with advertisement, bloatware and buggy update.

Or if is MIUI to much for you, you can always pick phone with barebones Android os (inc andeoidone) Nokia have plenty of them, but hey, if you're Xiaomi fan, they also have Mi A2, or Mi A2 Lite, or Mi A1 with androidone os.
Then again, maybe you just need to read manual from the box, who knows. But if you have old model from Xiaomi (3-4 years old) it's time for change. I hope this helps {$}

mmk, 25 Feb 2019Chinese phone are not what they were in the past, now they ... moreI know they are good (most of them), i also use now Xiaomi from Redmi series, it's a (for the price) really good phone, with good build, awesome battery life, good cameras (again, for the price), but best of all it's MIUI, really great custom rom/skin with tons of options, and stuill, after 6 months of usage (and like 20 MIUI updates) it runs like first day (fast, no lags, no slowdowns etc). Samsung is also good, but i think only in flagahips category.

They are most probably rebranding the Chinese Note7 as the Note7 Pro in India. Not saying it would be a bad deal, but again Xiaomi is showing what they think of the Indian market. They already stopped bring their flagship Mi series to India, and now they are starting to skip the better mid rangers like the "Real" Note 7 pro as well.
And here I thought, the way they are teasing it, they are going to redeem themselves after an underwhelming H2 2018.
Also, considering they have roped in probably the hottest star in bollywood right now as it's brand ambassador, I am skeptical about the price as well.
