That's your point of view, and I understand it. But for me, the only difference between a 200€ phone and a 700+ one, is the camera. Processor didn't add anything for 2-3 years now, app are still developped with lower end phone in mind to reach a bigger market. And it doesn't seem SD855 use the incredible possibility of the 7NM to reduce drastically the energy consumption (well, 60% of the drain come from the screen anyway), but just go for higher number in Bench, which is useless in day to day use, in my opinion.
But it's true, if I didn't care about photo, or just wanted correct shot to post on social media, I would go for a Xiaomi or other chinese brand since everything else is on par (or better, I love the Mi mix 3) with far more expensive phones. But my mate 10 pro showed me I can't have a image processing that doesn't suits my taste (i.e. over sharpened/too much noise reduction… I don't like noise reduction), and I hope this phone will suit me better by being more natural, since price is not an issue, and processor a lesser one. But that is just how I see things. Luckily people have other taste and we have enought handsets on the market to please every needs.

If it is having a gorilla glass 6 + a Notch with more screen to body ratio + adding huge battery its price will increase a bit high. Then you will complain a Year old processor and still its more than EUR 700?.

Now its not with a Notch screen or a hole screen then other visitors like you wakeup to comment over here with a tagline A Year old design.
But i mean to say what is a year old design in your terms?
Adding a notch/hole/popup camera makes a design new?
Nokia 9 bezels are still minimum and can give a better viewing experience.
Still on notch screen like 19:9 you cant watch videos or play games at full then you will endup on 18:9 by hiding the notch with a software.
So why u need all this bullshit on smartphone screen?
bro have a life and buy your favourite phone don't come here to comment.

Its basically a single camera with 5 lenses as a short summary. Go learn technology before complaining. They have made some efforts to bring innovations in smartphone camera which past nokia meant for. Nokia HMD is not promoting it but it can combine to make a 60MP snap with all those camera combined if its there chinese company like xiaomi they will promote it like this A camera with 60MP bla bla but its Nokia

Technology sometimes makes baby steps, other times makes strides.
Not everyone need and can afford the latest tech. But its unfair and unethical to charge flagship rates for old scrap.
This is not a cheap phone, as ought to be. Nokia has always been a symbol of greediness, always coming late in tech advancements, get scrap on cheap and charge it on premium. The Chinese reborn its name to follow that easy way to profit. But are ppl that stupid in 2019?? Really?

This phone is a blind buy if you are looking for stellar photography on the cheap. It is amazing , and the fact that it has a camera that will probably be in the top three for the remainder of 2019 is a testament to its camera prowess.

For me Nokia 9, new sony xperia series is something better than those with notch or holes. SD845 i don't mind cause it is going to serve all my stuff with milliseconds of difference.. and 5g it is not going to trending and cheaper anytime soon.. Lack of 3.5m headphone jack and MicroSD card is seriously big cons for me.
"If apple follows a different design and makes something beautiful and doesn't have notch then you will see notch disappearing and becoming old design" cause mi and some other manufacturers are busy in copying apple..

it is a sum of Many different things! One very peculiar thing in these forums Are people who bash phones based on brand... a lot of them... to me how the perhonen works, what is the size, how durable it is, how good the camera is, how good Are os upgrades, how good the screen is, what features the phone has (compared to what I need), how fast it is (compared to what I need) and so on and so on... the whole picture is important, not individual things or the brand. I have seen good and not so good phones from Many brands. It is somewhat immature to bash something because, it is iPhone, or Samsung, or LG, or Nokia or what ever. Because each model is a piece of its own. Some brand have habits of doing certain things in certain ways, but you have to really look all those individual models based on what They really are.

Dude, 01 Mar 2019Non expandable memory and mediocre 3230 mah battery for a p... moreBatteries are heavy. The bigger the heavier. They also take up a lot of space, and that's needed for the cameras to avoid any humps.
The battery in this is more than enough, and you can charge it quickly if you do for some reason run short for the day.
I for one love this device. Great build quality and quality components used by HMD.
No silly notch/hole. Bezels are slim enough (for me).
I cant wait to get my hands on one to test and play with to see the real quality of the device.
dos anyone know if this comes with ozo sound??

Sure,... moreTo me the people who think about 400€ being cheap are blind. You got tricked by Apple and Samsung over the last years into thinking 1000€ for a phone is normal. It is not. For 1000€ I can build a full fledged gaming PC. The phones Samsung and Apple produce only cost them a fraction to produce as compared to what they are asking for. The people here complaining about the price are not "spec warriors" from "third world countries" like some here suggest. These are just people who aren't blind sheeps throwing money at Apple and Samsung for devices that are not even worth half the price.
Do you even remember when the first 600€ phones where somewhat unthinkable. Samsung and Apple worked really hard to make 1000€ sound like a normal price for a phone. Again, it is not.
Taking the Nokia 9: The phone is actually a 2018 phone. Not only specs wise. The Nokia 9 was intended for release in 2018 but was delayed multiple times since the camera tech wasn't ready. There even was a outcry by Nokia employees since they feared that by delaying the release this long the phone will no longer be a flagship phone. So fact is, the Nokia 9 is a 2018 phone and no longer comparable to current flagships hence the 650€ price tag.
But if you also consider that the phone isn't even good in a 2018 comparison in terms of bezel size, battery capacity and other specs even the 650€ are way to much.
On top the phone doesn't even have a headphone jack and a micro sd card slot.
Only considering these bad aspects the phone isn't worth 500€.
If we now start to compare it to current 2019 chines brand phones that come with full 2019 specs and a price tag around 400€ - 500€ the 650€ Nokia is asking for the Nokia 9 is just stupid.
Addressing the people who have too much money: The Nokia 9 is only a limited addition. They only released it with one color. All this is very intentionally. They basically just throw it on to the market to show anything and to compensate for R&D cost. You can bett that after the Nokia 9 is no longer available Nokia will release a 2019 speced phone with the same camera setup that you can get for 1000€ or something. They will carefully try to hide that to not hurt the Nokia 9 sales but probably go live with that soon after they sold the Nokia 9 units.

Very nice phone. OP6T doesnt have wireless charging, normal display as compared to Nokia 9's, slower updates as compared to Nokia 9's, OP6T's camera doesnt come close to that of Nokia 9's. Its not fair to compare Nokia 9 with One Plus 6T. Definitely my next phone.
