Every single Meizu device I have had (3) had problems. Whether sensor problems, performance problems or software problems. I like their build quality but that is it. They really drop the ball when it comes to compatibility and software experience.

cog, 01 Mar 2019Snapdragon 660 SoC is over 2 years old what a fail I've heard nothing but good things about the SD660 even if its a few years old, to be honest I'd rather get a cheap phone with this in it than any of the newer mid-range ones.

cog, 01 Mar 2019Snapdragon 660 SoC is over 2 years old what a fail yeah, and you want what for under 200? SD710? 712? oh wait, 675?! no idea what you talking about, even Mi A2 use SD660 and its a beast, so Meizu doing a lite version is a must, since Mi A2 Lite use SD625 a almost 3/4 year SoC, whats about that?! well well, look like someone are here just to bash Meizu.

cog, 01 Mar 2019Snapdragon 660 SoC is over 2 years old what a fail so what do you expect for lite version, which one of snapdragon chipset are now suitable for lite version?!
          sd670, sd675, sd710, sd712 are top
          meizu note 9 use sd675
after years of release of sd630, sony use it for xperia 10 with 350euro
          xperia 10 plus with sd636 for 430euro
asus offers zenfone max m2 with sd632 for 205$

so sd660 still best choice & even beyond of a phone carrying lite version name

All meizu need a good marketing team with good budget and a clean stock-ish ui with some add-on features.
