Honor view 20 was using single 48mp shooter with TOF(time of flight) sensor. like last 2017-2018. They had the honor view 10 released in December of 2017 then honor 10 in Q1 of 2018. Name of their units are really confusing tho.

Was confused with the name at first, but I realized it was the HONOR View20 that was released back then, oh well xD. Regarding the rear design, it ain't a drastic change, just some reorganization of the cameras with the single hole camera on top of the others, which is opposite of what the HUAWEI P20/P20 PRO is having. As for specifications there's no surprise at all, it should be packing specifications that's on par with high-end flagships that are far more expensive at a cheap price, that's HONOR for u alright

Actually P20 prices went down as they are almost phased out, they are just selling their last stocks to make room for the P30 thats why it went down a lot that it almost matches the price of Honor 10

I thought honor was supposed to be low price and decent good specs, but it moved straight into flagship territory over the years. It was supposed to be cheaper than the Huawei Phones and sell online right? So why is it latest Honor phones are same price or more expensive than the latest Huawei Phones?
Honor 8X more expensive than P smart 2019, View 20 more expensive than Nova 4, P20 and Honor 10 were the same price P20 lite same as Honor 10 lite. I'm not sure what is happening, but it feels like the Huawei is making phones that have the similar specs and compete with each other for no reason. I'm willing to bet the base p30 will cost 20EUR more than the Honor 20 and will have NFC and better camera. So who buys the Honor phones then? Last well positioned Honor phone I think was the Honor Play, cheap and to the point.
The P20 was 440 EUR after VAT, this one is 400 before so 480 after, the P30 will likely be around 500 EUR so again who do you see buying this?

Echos of the Magic 2 in that rear design. I'd happily throw some money on a slider design, if they put some proper effort into the camera setup.

storemandan, 04 Mar 2019Was comparing it to the Samsung s10+ which i believe would ... moreI mean it won't be as expensive because of the punch hole and the fact of the kirin 980 isn't as new as the snapdragon, but I know a place that'll do the s10+ for £42.49 for 5Gbs so definitely have a look around. Although that's for 36 months, 24 months is £56.24

Hope triple camera is normal wide and telephoto but I am expecting ToF camera in their and price is right but its chinese price global variant might have a higher price

Not everyone has unlimited streaming and you can't use it reliably when travelling, not to mention space fills up pretty quick with the size of images and videos thee days, that's before you think about apps.
Base should be 128gb on any flagship these days.
Bluetooth headphones are still open to interference, not as high quality and wired and batteries don't last forever..not everyone wants to carry endless chargers and adaptors around for when they run out or have to plug in a USB C adapter.
