Recow, 05 Mar 2019:D forgot about that one and there is a reason for forgetti... moreI use Face unlock every time i unlock my phone since my flipcase has a magnet on it, when opening the flipcase, my oneplus turns on but it needs unlocking and so, my face does it automatically, i dont even need to touch anything.
So yeah, people use it as i use the gestures instead of the on screen navigation buttons and as i use a lot of features that apparently, for you, nobody uses.
I like the convenience, that's why i didn't buy the oneplus 6 due i dislike that huge notch and thus i didn't buy the 6T because they removed the headphone jack.
Thats the reason i still stick to my 5T a bit longer.

A popup camera is a no go for me, i want the same approach samsung did to the S10, a punch hole, that would be amazing, fingers crossed for the oneplus 7T

I don't mind it for selfies as to I don't use it that much but for face unlock it really is a negative point for me.

I like this design idea but-
      'Nobody uses that'
      Hmm.
      Most people do.
Good luck using face unlock on this. Or does nobody use that either? lol

Absolutely brilliant design, Oneplus knows their market, their phones are bought by tech enthusiasts and nerds, who seldom use the selfie-cam, Instagram queens buy Samsung and apple anyway. great solution and a fantastic looking phone, I'm sure they'll sell tons of them.

Plus, the teardowns to suggest quite the water resistant rubber. In all honesty, however, I think the OnePlus phones have lost their luster. The only good thing is the price and software and charging now.

That kind of protection is still possible with pop-up camera design. I think OP7 would retain that level of dust/water resistance.

And it would be smartest to not buy a phone from this year, what with 5G, EUV chips, and full screens without any obstruction coming most likely in 2020.

From my opinion, at first One plus is booming not just because of the high specification but also "the cheap prize". So maybe when develop new product you must think about the prize first. That is my opinion.

:D forgot about that one and there is a reason for forgetting, because i have never seen anybody use face unlock. The fingerprint reader will always win from the face unlock option. Come on let be realistic, face unlock isn''t practical, and les then 1% uses the camera for face unlock, but i can understand that people who use it won't like this pop up thing. I just dont think it should be considered as a thing because almost nobody uses it

This is the first phone with a S855, 8GB ram 256GB with full screen, this is what I was looking for all the time. Perfect for me.

OnePlus already removed the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the 6T so why complain about it now? I'm psyched that there's a mainstream (non Chinese only) phone we can all buy that's all screen, and has no notch, or punchhole, teardrop, or whatever, and has no bloat, weird UI or OS, etc. This is cool. This is an improvement. Will it compete with Pixel phones? I sure hope so.

As for slower, yeah, it's slightly slower, but the Samsung just has more, like waterproofing, stereo speakers, a headphone jack, though the price is higher. The curved screens I don't understand though
