Then they stopped launching many phones as they got recognized as premium brand and concentrated more on premium devices. but now because of chinese phones taking over the mid and low end market by launching phones every alternate day .. samsung is falling behind in asian countries.
          So they are back to their old strategy to take over the market again .. launch a phone in every price range !!!

            Samsung rarely launches mid range and low end phones in US (once in a while they launch one J series phone .. lol) ... in US they just go neck to neck with apple in premium category . that's it.
            Motorola is only notable Mid range and low end phones available in US with E and G series. these days Nokia is launching their few models.

                  It's ok i guess..i just wish some of these phones came with Multi-moe bands or LTE bands that play nice with GSM carriers in the US.

                                    Yes, it surely makes its fans or potential buyers confused with the models but Samsung does not care with it. Samsung just cares with its market and its profit made (oh well, all brands do the same anyway).

                                    So, learning the life experience of Nokia and Blackberry, particularly, Samsung does the expansion of its mod quickly.

                                    Of course, Samsung may not make the best midrange phone among other brands but the flagship and super midrange phones (i.e. A8 2018 family, etc) are the best choice among other brands.
