Apple now allowing repairs on iPhones with third-party batteries

Of course that the display replacement is going to be more expensive, after all you're replacing the whole display, not only the glass covering it. Plus, OLED panels are usually more expensive than LCD ones.

    im done with apple now, waiting for my 6s to die, but it's working too well lol

      It's funny to see Apple speak of "low quality batteries" when their older MacBook Pro models had so poor batteries that expanded and pushed on the touch-pad from underneath, making it impossible to click.

        new s7 edge display and back glass repaired for 150 euro
        new mate 9 lcd with new housing repaired for 50 euro.
        can anyone tell me how much kosts lcd replacement or back glass on iphone?i do t think is cheap
        this is one of the many reasons i stick with android

          so if you have your battery replaced 3rd party , and they use loads of glue to put it in apple will change 'the phone' for the price of the battery ???

                          Sound like the rot is hitting them hard...why would anyone want to install a third-party battery is beyond me. After all it's not like the phones are cheap..

                              will not buy iPhone again. too messy policy and over price repair. Lots hidden problems.
