Is this the Samsung I9500 Galaxy S 3 first camera sample?

The EXIF data of the leaked image point says that it's captured with a certain Samsung I9500.

Samsung don't give us 3D camera or 3D viewing screen because it is really totally not necessary. Give us better camera lens quality, more battery juice perharps?
Can't wait to see S3 next year ~

What good would a front-facing 5mp camera be?

I would love to see a 5mpx cameraphone with the Nokia N8 sensor. Think about it: for Facebook you need ~0.35mpx, for HDTV display and a standard 6"x4" print at magazine dot pitch (300dpi) you need ~2mpx, and even for a high resolution monitor you need only ~3.5mpx. 5mpx would be enough for even 2x crops on almost all these scenarios, while the big sensel size would mean extremely good dynamic range and high iso performance.

If this is true, then it seems Samsung didnt even try to improve the photo quality of its image sensor and high ISO without grains and low light indoor performance
                what a shame

The Nokia N8s camera is amazing, but 12mp is not necessary on a phone. Uploading to FB and Twitter, you don't need an image so large. 8mp is more than enough. Just keep improving the lens and software, add optical zoom if possible and try and create a smaller xenon flash.

AnonD-5542, 29 Dec 2011Yup. And that's why satio which is 12 Megha pixel of symbia... moreHere you can see a 12 MP Android phone. :)

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2011Dear GSMA The number of megapixels (MP) a camera has has... moreMega Pixel is important when you want to print your photo.

Anonymous, 29 Dec 2011I suppose that's why SE isn't releasing a 12MP phone...The new Nozomi will have a 12 MP camera, so don't worry. Android can support 14 MP as well, and probably 16 MP. :) If the 2010 Altek Leo which has the 2.1 version can support 14 MP, the latest version can support 16 MP.

samsungfan, 29 Dec 2011it's from the front-facing cameraYeah, because front facing cameras have flash. What phone manufacturer would be that stupid to put a 5 mpix camera to the front? Think about the data costs that would come up from a video chat and the lag... Oh man.. Think before talking, ok?
