That's why I asqued why did you care about a phone that is known for a lot of time now for not matching you needs?
For example, I don't care about Camera, DLSR, etc. You could give me one for free I would still prefer a phone with correct camera, because the best camera is the one you have with you, not the one that sit on your desk because you couldn't take it on the only pocket you have on your motorcycle jacket. And as I know, you can't call emergencies with a camera, so the priority goes to the phone.
I could explain how bringing this tech to the phone is good and how real tech enthousiasts have no reason to not like the idea of adding a new tech to this market (real new tech, not Notch) but anyway, you are stuck with the 10 years argument "you can do better shot with a dedicated cam, so y u care about camera phone when you can buy a 100€ phone and a 200€ camera that do better?"
For information, it's the same technology that allowed us to take better pictures of universe from earth.
Prices were never fixed in regard to the manufacturing cost, a camera sensor doesn't cost a lot, it is set at this price because people will buy it a this price. Same goes for every phone on the market especially priciest ones.

From the first bunch of info about this phone until final release 2 years passed.
And after a 2 years is still worth to buy.
Anyway SD845 or SD855 where is the difference???
Yeah SD855 supports 5G and? 5G is very limited and it will stay that for next few years.
Apart from that it will run any video or app really fast.
It will charge the battery really fast and it have the best camera any phone ever had.
Dont know what is your problem.

I never carry a camera everywhere i go (but ALLWAYS my cell) especially not when mobile cameras are that good. Besides my jeans wont fit a bulky compact camera :-)

Not some phone with latest hard wear ( most of them more expensive, but it's the latest, yeah baby ), regardless of built quality and performance + some another camera to carry around!!! I have nothing against DSLR or compact cameras, but they are just for specific occasions, not for every day use ( unless you are professional photographer ). This one is good close enough to be 2 in 1 and can get even better with upgrades.

Yes there will be plenty of phones with 855 and card slot, and I won't buy any of those either..
As this particular device, like so many recently, is meant to be mainly its imaging capabilities, I was pointing out the costs of all those cam modules and the fact that for a quarter of the price of this phone, its possible to buy and carry a separate device that can take very much better images that also offers things that no phone camera can offer or if tried is inferior to even an old(ish) real camera, even a compact like the Lieca, just because your not interested, doesn't mean others possibly share your disinterest,for anyone interested in overall image quality, I've shown how cheaply it can done for, as compared to buying a new phone, even one sold as this is on the basis of its imaging capabilities..

Price is too high. 845 chip should make it cheaper. no card slot. imagine the price without all the costs of all those camera modules that I don't want or need !! Another "flagship" with last years chip.
Will stick with carrying my tiny little Lieca V lux 40 compact camera instead, half the size of the phones today and can capture enough light to produce very good images without needing huge amounts of image processing + 20x real zoom +20 digital zoom etc etc and only cost £140..
so probably less money than HMD had to spend on all those cam modules !!!

Unlike the Saints at Nokia who bury in the T&C the promo is limited to 500 only. How many people will read the small print?
Should have been first 500 pre orders and it should tell you on checkout whether you get the buds or not
Xiaomi got called out in their shitty promo for UK stores opening and they admitted they should have handled things differently.
