Alien , 08 Mar 2019 I'll take the S10+ in a heartbeat over the wann... moreI am a Samsung fan. I am a member of Samsung Smartlab where I share most of my ideas with Samsung. I used Samsung Phones, tablets, Vr's, TVs, smartwatches for last 10 years. When I heard about infinity O display I was spamming Smartlab asking Samsung to drop the hole-in-screen idea. For me watching movies is the most important. I can not stad a single burned pixel. I hate notch in any form. Punch hole is nothing more than a stupid form of flowing notch. Screen above hole is useless. Punch hole looks ugly. When I saw Unbox Therapy launching youtube on S10+ it was for me disaster. I do not need a headphone jack since I use Sony MDR1000x all the time. I do not need IP68 since I do not use my phone under shower ( :D ) All I need is a clear field of view.... and a desktop mode but I hope Android Q will bring desktop mode for everyone.
BTW small waterdrop notch is much better than a "flowing notch" aka punch hole.

    You can look at it like you're losing a little bit of screen, or you can look at it as you're gaining quite a bit more screen.

    Me? I look at it as though the bezels are huge on the Samsung S10, because I only require/desire a 16:9 screen... so all that extra screen regardless of a notch or not, is making my phone larger. And what I want in my (mobile) phone is a reasonably compact size with enough resilience for daily torture...which is not the same properties I look for in a TV.

      - SD card slot
      - 3.5mm jack
      - USB 3.1
      - bigger battery
      - better display
      - bigger resolution
      OP7 sucks compared to the S10+.

      PS: ANYTHING is better than a NOtch. Even a double cutout. Though I'd prefer none of those , like the Xperia 1.

      Unless you are the owner of OP company, I really don't understand why you would want one.

        If it's really 4000 mAh... this is the one, folks. Waiting for the official announcement and pricing. I'll miss the IR blaster present on my Mate 9 (and the Mi 9), but that's life.

If yes then buy yourself S10 and live with a hole in a display if not? You will have no problem having a hole in display. In the and look at front of the S10+ and tell me it looks better than front of OnePlus7 or any phone with "New infinity" display.

                    If you have done some R and D for a clean bezel less look of an smartphone 
                    Then tell samsung they will incorporate in note 10

                    But, I loved the s10 design

                      OnePlus seemed generous and innovative when it started out. Except for extra RAM and storage, I now feel, it doesn't really offer anything extra. It is just another Chinese smartphone company. It could be another Oppo or Huawei or even Xiaomi. There is no single USP of OnePlus. Also the camera is just not the best. It is good. But so are like the top 30 smartphones out there. The design is boring too. I am sure OnePlus can do better. Much better.

                        Where are stereo speakers, hdr screen, sd slot, ip rating?

                        More rom and ram is not upgrade.

I hate their EMUI OS optimization, cheap looking design and poor UX choices everywhere. They also change the camera app all the time and the proclaimed photo quality is a lie. It makes very nice photos, but only in very specific conditions + selfie camera and videos are disaster. It's very reliable phone though but still which modern premium phone isn't right?

                              If you buy a device which will be used for multimedia purposes all you need is a good screen. You can have awesome screen in Galaxy S10 but it is spoiled with a HOLE. Would you buy a TV with a punch hole? Even if it had a IP68? ... kappa
                              I was also Samsung funboy but if they sell you s..t, do not say that it smells nice! ;)

Mostly because of design so I can keep an end game looking smartphone for a while. But doubt I will. I think I can wait and just see what oneplus do. the 7t could be amazing and priced well too.
