Waiting for GSMArena's photo. This Redmi uses the same Sony camera as Huawei's Honor View 20, so this should be interesting.

compability/support for Adobe Lightroom CC app?? Does Lightroom support HDR mode for Redmi Note 7 ?? (very few phone models right now are supported by Lightroom for HDR mode - hope Xiaomi can step up and work with Adobe)

I'm quite impressed with the edge detection, given the fact that it's taken from a mid-end smartphone, though the top part of the flower is blurred out. There's a little bit of corner softness, but it's not that noticeable unless u zoom in to the photo of course. It seems like the smartphone itself is capable of taking nice low light photos, as seen from the samples. The words outside the building and the interior doesn't get overexposed, which is great. I guess I'll just have to wait for the review huh

It's a true 48 MP sensor but with tiny 0.8 mm cell, in order to use it like that you will need to use stative & obtain ideal lightweight conditions, Quad Bayer bining is actually processing done by software (algorithm) combining four square's. I still have my old Nokia 808 as a backup phone. I would like to see mobile sensors go the other way around. Using stocked together sensors with ram and ASIC's all together adding more and more weak one's.

And yes bigger pixel size will let more lights data in, making it less noise, therefore affects overall image quality, especially details. Of course lens quality & image processing play the biggest part.
