I held the Xperia 10 in my hand. It is very long but you I could still use it with one hand.
Will you do a review of the Xperia L3 too?

Less b... moreNot good phones any more . Even they provide the best phone cam sensor but they cant use it properly. Other companies having sony sensor with better logarithm.
They fall down becuase they dont lestin to consumers.

Bionz X is just for Xperia 1. Midranges will get regular software. But using worse hardware than previous generation.
10+ uses 12MP 1/2.8" and 10 uses 13MP 1/3" ( just like E5, XA and L series) ...
XA1 and XA2 uses imx300 , same of Z5 and XZ. Much better sensor.

Less battery, worse cam sensors ( most of them are isocell)..
Website of my country has excelent battery test, they simulate real use.
XA1 and XA1U could score better endurance than predicted.
Ultra had 2700 mAh and 16nm cpu

I see they have a gold Xperia 10 Plus for reviewing, but the pre-order pages don't offer that color. I'm curious if or when all 4 colors will be available in the US.

I thought Sony would go the Nokia/HMD approach, by offering decently-specced mid rangers with great HDR10-compliant screens like the Nokia 7.1 Plus.
Still decent enough, but truth be told, I really expected more.
This is coming from an avid Xperia fan, and Xperia 1 is the one I'm waiting for.
If these 10 and 10 Plus devices had OIS as a unique mid range selling feature, then I might've been interested to them.
Sad to say, but the selfie-centric XA Ultra series that have OIS is now gone :((

They say screen has average delta of 2.18, brightness of 532 nits and contrast of 1539:1

Years ago, I really want an Xperia (especially the Z series). But I couldn't afford it.
Now when I can afford one, Sony Mobile already gone in my country :(

Also Xperia 10 has better quality LCD panel than S8 OLED which is quite a disaster. Xperia 10 Plus on the other hand has worse panel than regular 10 (not resolution but actual picture.quality). Cameras during the daylight are as good as S8 on both 10s

They have a different aproach. That's why we see a lot of non-chinese companies struggle. They just can't compete with that 0% profit. So, it's kind of unfair to compare them, but we do, as we compare devices only on their specifications/price ratio. This device is expensive indeed, but Sony was never cheap. Sony probably thought they could put S660 or S670, but device would be out of his league with even bigger price tag. It already is out of his league or should I say below his league with higher pricing and older chipset (S630) if we compare model 10 and 10+ to any chinese phone maker, especially Xiaomi. I know my resonings why I choosed non-chinese phone over chinese. Reasonings were mainly software based, but now all I look on a new phone, like most of people is chipset and camera. I know my next phone will be chinese phone, but I will surely miss my korean, japanese and taiwanese phones, as they all provided me with unique features in their hardware or OS which I really liked. Chinese for the most part are just pumping the specs. Anyway good luck to us all. And good luck to non-chinese companies. They're gonna need it

For the price u pay, Xperia 10 plus should have SD710, 3500mah battery at least and let the normal Xperia 10 have the SD636, 3200mah battery at least. The rest of the specs can maintain.
For now its a ridiculous launch price.

Xa2+ does much better.
