brain_dead, 30 Dec 2011Really 100 times more ??? Do you know about system requir... moreActually, 100 times more is a conservative estimate - gotta include all those small programs on dead-end sites. In terms of how it would run, well, like a netbook, as they use similar specs. So it would get slow at times, yes, but it would still run OK.

"This should be good for tech-unsavvy people who can't learn to control Android, we suppose."

If you cant understand something as simple as android you don't deserve a smartphone....

Although this phone has amazing specs I don't expect it to be released any time soon and predict delays on the 2GHz update. The big problem with this phone is that it runs windows which so far has been a major disappointment, Microsoft prove me wrong!

The first time I heard about Windows Mobile, I thought it was the PC Windows on a mobile phone. Ever since I realised it wasn't, I always wanted for someone to "put" PC Windows on mobile devices. This is gonna be cool. People have different expectations for technology. If you don't like this, go but a Win8 tablet!

Errm, not trying to sound like a fanboy, but i don't consider myself a tech-savvy person, but it took me less than two days to learn how to use Android phone compared to the two years it took me to understand how windows work.. and if they are savvy enough to know how to plug external display, keyboard and mouse to a 4.3" phone, i bet it will be easier to know how to operate a phone with a touch interface that only requires tap, slide, drag, hold to operate..

          just thinking..

Hi, 30 Dec 2011XP would have been better then win 7 because xp is more bas... moreTrue, windows xp does use less RAM and processing power but the interface is not as touch friendly as windows 7 or 8 so if the phone is given enough RAM and a fast enough chipset, as it has been, I think it will do pretty well, atleast on performance

XP would have been better then win 7 because xp is more based on ram and 7 uses more CPU then ram

                  Win 8 is perfect

I would love this. I would love to have a full OS in my phone, but in the report, the developers sound toos rue of themselves, with stuff like the smartphone ndustry's breather due to steve jobs' passing is now over because we are releasing the ultimate phone.

[deleted post]No, it is more of them acknowledging Android to be Nr.1 OS as of now, thats all. iOS is great, but runs on too less devices.
