That's why I love Samsung. The built in Game Launcher has screen recording WITH system sound. Not just external audio

ALL Android phones have it. The difference probably is that now you can access it through the UI instead of only the command terminal.

Usage: screenrecord [options]
Android screenrecord v1.2. Records the device's display to a .mp4 file.
Options:
--size WIDTHxHEIGHT
Set the video size, e.g. "1280x720". Default is the device's main
display resolution (if supported), 1280x720 if not. For best results,
use a size supported by the AVC encoder.
--bit-rate RATE
Set the video bit rate, in bits per second. Value may be specified as
bits or megabits, e.g. '4000000' is equivalent to '4M'. Default 20Mbps.
--bugreport
Add additional information, such as a timestamp overlay, that is helpful
in videos captured to illustrate bugs.
--time-limit TIME
Set the maximum recording time, in seconds. Default / maximum is 180.
--verbose
Display interesting information on stdout.
--help
Show this message.
Recording continues until Ctrl-C is hit or the time limit is reached.

Huaweis EMUI has had this feature for yeeeaaarrs, and stock android is just getting it now? thats weak.
stock android is overrated

Windows10, 14 Mar 2019Does it record system sound though?Microphone works on my Sony.
But for example if you record a youtube video the sound is too low.
External sound is better recorded.

My xperia came with android 5 ( stopped with 7.1.1) has this.
But it was removed on X line ..

Would be great if this was done a few years back to be honest, Google's definitely way behind schedule right here. In fact, what we're anticipating in regards to the screen recorder is not the screen recorder itself, but the ability to record internal audio instead. iOS had this for quite a long time already, and now in 2019, there's still no answer to this from Google yet. Hopefully, when this comes out, it does support recording of internal audio which also gives third party apps the ability to have it too (and when I say third party apps, I mean screen recording apps)

If it can't record internal sound without using microphone (to prevent record sound from surrounding) ,then this screen recorder is bad.
