It ain't different from what we saw in the GTX 1050/1050 Ti and the GTX 1080/1080 Ti to be honest; the non Ti version will always get the slightly higher base and boost clock (though that is not the case for the GTX 1070/1070 Ti), whereas the Ti version will always have pretty much everything upgraded from the non ti version, with the base and boost clock being slightly underclocked because of that. Looking at the online prices of the GTX 1660 Ti, it seems like it's a few dollars more expensive than the GTX 1060 currently, and it performs neck and neck with the GTX 1070. Now with the release of the GTX 1660 and NVIDIA's claim of it performing better than the 3GB version of the GTX 1060, I guess I could safely say that it is a better option than the GTX 1060

Still waiting for AMD to showcase theirs, I am boycotting both Intel and Nvidia after years of overpricing with little performance gain after how many years.

It should be $170 tops... Other OEM will charge a little more for the stuff they add on their cards, so expect the price range of $250 more or less.

But after seeing the GTX 1660Ti barely managing against GTX 1070, I realized for just $70 more RTX 2060 is a better deal as it not only trade blows with GTX 1080 but also has Ray tracing.

For AMD GPU department this year could prove critical as they have chance for a comeback if they can manage a RTX 2060 level performance even without ray tracing for $220-$250 it can take back some market share from Nvidia.

I get second hand 1070 or even TI for that money.
Both will beat the 1660 in any way.

Now that it ended, at least, prices are more in the line they should be and cost a lot less than the old GTX 1060 with a 35% increased performaced. But the one that shines is the RTX 2060 for its price and the level AMD should watch to reach in performance/price if want compete.

Only 30-35% more performance than GTX 1060 (3gb) after 3 years gap. No thank you Nvidia. Looks like AMD can finally shine this year or at least I hope so.

Can AMD just please release Navi already?
