    It's sad but true where I live. an XSMax 512 GB here costs an average of 6720 ILS, Converting it from ILS to USD results in a staggering 1870$, which is insanely close to 2000$ ballpark that you mentioned. with onlaunch prices reaching a mind boggling 2400$ even. (8699 ILS)

      Apple never used Laser autofocus technology... and if you saw an iPhone's top. there's no hole for a mic. so that mic for recording a video or a voice memo is placed on the camera module.
      It explains also why all models from 5 to 8 has a hole thing between the camera module and the flash unit. and why the iPhone X family models (except the XR, that is identical to the 5-8 but vertically) has a hole adjacent to the flash and the telephoto camera.

        I'm thinking iPhone X2, X2s and X2r, any thoughts?

                      Talking about ugly... damn i expect worst from iphone and they don't dissapoint.

                        Hopefully it won't be priced $1499
