I don't remember what other Samsung had that problem, maybe alpha. I got the pocophone now, love it. And also hate some things about it. Android is kind of locked, and no such thing as developer options. A lot of bloatware, that sadly can't be removed or even disabled. But aside from that, it is very smooth and fast. Lasts really long on battery, even with heavy gaming. But I think I'll get op7 or 8 next time. Because Oneplus can work with my photo gear with no problems. For now I just need to live with having to copy all pictures on the phone, then import it to lightroom and then delete them from the phone again. It's the same with Samsung. Huawei and Oneplus seems to be able to import directly from the SD card reader and to lightroom.

That is a very weird problem. Haptic touch issue maybe? Or the fingerprint on the side is also being touched while gaming? I know that the side fingerprint also work to help for scrolling and swiping on screen.

jo, 19 Mar 2019what do you not like about it? Quite a bit. Examples include: 1. The navigation icons are terrible. They get in the way, or are very difficult to use gestures. 2. Battery endurance nearly always only 5 hours per charge. 3. The stupid fps is up too high, and is surely designed for ambidextrous and right handed users. 4. My favorite game has odd issues (although to be fair, it had issues on my s9, albeit different ones). 5. You can't lower the screen resolution.
I could go on. However, since I am looking to get 8 GB ram note 9, I won't have to keep my 8 GB ram s10e for more than a year.

Samsungs needs to Increase the Video Bitrate, especially in HDR video. That will help the video quality Substantislly.
Apparently the API is almost completely opened now. Hopefully developers will be able to use and make the most of HDR10 Video quality for maximum dynamic range and quality in video.

Anonymous, 19 Mar 2019this is the phone that I want to buy rather than the plus size!Be sure to get a cover right away. So you won't have the miss touch problem. And be patient with the wifi, because it has some issues of instability at the moment. Samsung is working on it.

It is the brand new model that Samsung has just released. If you don't have that exact model, then you can't talk about the problem. This is Samsung galaxy s10e model issue. Not an android phone issue!

I am using Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Galaxy A8 2018 and Galaxy S9+ but none has your problem, including the WIFI problem.

I don't have patience to wait for updates, that should have been fixed before launch. Samsung knows about the wifi problem, and it will be fixed by future updates. But the touch that is felt through the phone, is a major problem.

So if you game on your phone, there will be weird moments on your character/gun in game, because the screen register touches, that comes from your fingers on the back of the phone. Try to play a moba game or fps shooting game. Notice how your fingers are holding around the phone. Now imagine that 2 fingers of each hand, makes touches on the back, that the touch screen register as you were touching on the front.

The wifi thing is probably not optimized since its using the new wifi 6. Camera, not sure. Not using the S10e but the bigger brother has no problem. Ask in xda forum maybe someone has similar problem as you.

Wifi/lte is unstable and has to be manually switched several times a day. Camera has problems with focus points on daily shooting. They work normally again after several hours of break. So picture taking is kind of limited daily.

I bought a tempered... moreIf I were you and in Samsung ecosystem (i.e. not mention to other brands), I were surely buying Galaxy S10, not e version. It would be more convenient for your needs, including the fingerprint scanner position. And you are so lucky because you can return yours to the shop if you just do not like that product (i.e. the used product, because you have tried it first).
