Android one phone with Exynos like WTF???
Lenovo you can do a lot more than using samsung crapchips. Snapdragon were always a lot better.

The GPU Mali-G72MP3 inside can not compete with Adreno 512 in SD660.
It can compete with Adreno 509 (in SD636) only,
but that is still a bit better:
Average Gaming ARM Mali-G72 MP3 → 100%
Average Gaming Qualcomm Adreno 509 → 113%

So fairly useless try,
there are a lots of phones with SD636, even from Lenovo
wich seems to be the better way ...

However, Qualcomm usually has better community support. Their embedded GPUs are usually better compared to competition of the same class, all of which combined with a low fingerpring and power consumption. These may not have any value in real life to the average user, though.
Also, things tend to come close the more you go up in SoC ranks.

I am just surprised that Exynos by Samsung is now used by any other brands. It is not my business anyway. As an ordinary user, I do not see any differences practicaly between SD, Exynos and even Mediatek in daily life. For me, It is only a technical number to differ them.

I don't know what goes on in the minds of people working at Motorola. Snapdragon has some great SOC in the form of SD 670 and 675 with tremendous support from the community, yet they chose Exynos 9610 which competes with a 2 year old SD 660.
Motorola never fails to disappoint one way or the other..

The performance and efficiency is largely negligible between the Exynos 9610, and the QSD 670. However, the graphics is much weaker.
Not to mention that its not as fleshed out as Qualcomm chips, which usually come with pretty good quality DSP, DAC, BT, Wifi, 3G, LTE radios and usually have built-in support for things like NFC, FM Radio, Infrared transmitter, etc etc.
On top of that, there's plenty of documentation, sources, and support for the Snapdragon chipsets. As well as, first-party tools from Qualcomm for developers to optimise their software for the Snapdragon platform (ie/ Unreal Engine and Unity Apps, run far better on weaker Adreno gpu's than on more powerful ARM Mali gpu's).

In raw power, SD660 remains a challenge for many other mid range chipsets, and it even has superior graphics than this Exynos 9610, which leaves it with efficiency as its main selling point
And did I just forgot about the upcoming SD730 this year??

For the cpu it's built on older cortex A73 and A53 (same as sd660 ) and has a little but more clock speed than sd660
So it's comparable to sd660 in performance
