Both are better than having notches, but they need to solve the problem of these phablets being too goddamn big!

I love it. I dont mind with notch as long as there is proper face unlock, this design make full screen phone with proper face unlock possible.

6.8 inch? Ok, A little more bigger screen then I consider to use phablet combining phone and tablet then is big enough. 6.5 inch are not big enough, 6.7 inch are still not big enough for phone and tablet. 6.8 inch, a little more. Huawei mate 20 X or honor 8x max is the best option for me.

I like both designs. The first one can even offer IP certification easily. Second one reminds me of Xperia X1. ZTE makes nice concepts, but they never become products...

My phone has a front-facing led flash and I'd greatly prefer turning on the lights or repositioning my desk lamp over using what is essentially a flashlight directly at my face.

Hey, I'm just thinking out the box and all that but what about this idea.
Just avoid buying any phone with a notch......this simple approach works amazingly well.

i like the idea of the axon v, but only if it is minimal hump. from the render it looks like it could be unnecessarily bigger that what it should be. or it could also be at the top instead of the side (reminds me of my old sony-ericsson active). or can it be made small enough so it can be tucked away manually (no motors) into the frame when not in use?
