the ASUS Zenfone Lite L1 has much better specs:

        - SD430 octa-core SoC !!!!
        (with much stronger GPU ),
        - 13MP PDAF main camera,
        - Front LED Flash as well,
        - all the sensors incl. E-compass
        and so on ...

The phone has got very good reviews as well on Flipkart.

        ( = Zenfone Live L1 (ZA550KL) on other markets)

        Redmi Go is clearly overpriced,
the ZF Lite L1 from ASUS offers a lots more in specs for just a bit more in price.

1 GB RAM is so limiting to try Non-Lite apps.. Asus Lite L1 is already present in the market with better RAM, ROM, SOC and Display.

              So it's a redmi 5a with 1gb ram!
Better buy old redmi note 3 from olx.

Abhi Dahiya, 19 Mar 2019Yeah right. Why not ask Diamond for that price. Did you know that the redmi 5a was launched at 5k offer price, redmi 5a had way better specs than this phone, that's why expecting 16gb internal is normal, even asus zenfone l1 goes on sale most of the time for 5k. I said that its ok but would have been better if it would have come for 4k or more storage.

Anna, 19 Mar 2019If it was launched with Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) instead ... moreBut Nokia 1 Plus have MediaTek, smaller battery, smaller resolution, and higher price for no reason really.. since this is GO version it will get update to Pie, soon.. And also Xiaomi updates all their low end to high end devices with own custom rom, with security patches.. Some of them also get newer Android version. Just look at Redmi 6a, phone costs like 80-90$, phone from last year, it have Oreo out of box, and it will get Pie for month or two.. Don,t know what customers want more than that and for that chippa chippa price..

                    Ok

If it was launched with Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) instead of Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), it could have sold like hotcakes at this price. Nokia 1Plus with Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) was already announced & will be launched soon in India, of course. with higher price tag. But at least, Nokia updates their low end phones unlike Xiaomi. Being low end phone, Xiaomi won't bother to update this handset from 8.1 to 9 or further.

Pricing isn't correct you will see price cut upcoming months.

I wish they gave a newer processor from the 14nm or 11nm process nodes.
This is worse than my redmi 3s flashed with lineage, even a used one.

I'm surprised that it isn't using the new Redmi brand logo at the back.

I wish that they have given 16gb storage variant for 4500 INR. Still its ok for 1st time users.
