      There is no true local Indian phone manufacturer. All of these local companies get re-branded phones from china that are assembled in India.

      And no, it is not about them being Chinese, It is about security of Mi Pay as it is very new and we do not know if its secure enough for money transactions. It would be wise to observe it for some time before relying on it.

            Mi pay its better you stay in china dont come to india here

              UPI is a life changing service. Banking transactions are totally hassle free. I'm in love with it.

                Still it's strange, why would they even give the App outside India!

                  So this is the reason why my Redmi 5 Plus suddenly had an app called Mi Pay installed inside of it without even notifying me about it a few days ago....

                  Will it work on other regions as well already? I'm not in India so will it work??

                    Oh god ..every phone manuf doing own pay.. ridiculous... now nokia pay will come with this . what for when google pay gathers all of banks ??
