They should have avoided the fuss and brought in a new case capable of wireless charging for 40 USD.
But obviously, it's Apple we are talking about here. Despite being practically the same as the older Airpods, they would still want to replace it with this "upgraded" model. Have said it a thousand times, but would say it again, "Kudos to Apple's marketing"!!!!

wish they actually upgraded sound quality as that's one of the main issues with these. battery life sounds great though! would be great for every day phone call use. not good for quality music listening. love the Bluetooth upgrade too

And with the price stacked on top of these, they're shit at best...
