Where I'm going is that someone is making big cash on your data without your consent. Your data is yours, why let some random company make profit over it? If you feel like selling it because you have nothing to hide, why don't you make the profits?

          I still have A Facebook account for a page, just to avoid impersonation. I don't have or want any of FB's crap on my devices. They can still harvest data from your phone just from the app, tie this info to your MAC address or other metadata, and resell your personal info for ads and more evil endeavors.

            Usualy i share a lot of funny pics and thats it.

You're in Europe right? Since we can't legally nuke Facebook, at least you can file a GPDR complaint. They'll have to give a billion or two, then will be forced to comply.

                You can delete your acc but you will find it anyway even after a few years from now.
                If you try to set it up it will say account name exist or soemthing like that.
                The only way how to get rid of facebook is to pummel them to the dust.
                Some nuclear warhead would be good idea.

                                  Glad I deleted my Facebook and Instagram accounts earlier this year.
                                  I don't want any part of this horrible company.
                                  Now to only get rid of WhatsApp.

                                    There have been so many articles on FaceBooks security issues over the years, I no longer feel sorry for anyone that gets pwned because they still having a FB account. And it AIN'T gonna change!! This is just one of hundreds of articles about how Facebook doesn't take your security seriously and never will.

                                        Such breach could have huge consequences, is someone could link the user names over different platforms.
