Cool feature. In the question of photography I have done some stunning low light pics. And used an S9 not even in the same ball park for low light. Huawei are light years ahead of any other phones. But on flip side video quality is OK. Apple Samsung and others are way better in the video dept.

The last Oracle, 24 Mar 2019I want to buy the S10 but saving up. I am wondering what th... moreIt is possible that P30 Pro will be better than S10+ when it comes to:
-Camera performance, in both photo and video thanks to the newly added OIS. Also keep it mind that the quality of Samsung's camera optics is going downhill since they introduced variable aperture on Galaxy S9, whereas Mate 20 Pro was a huge step-up from P20 Pro in terms of lens sharpness.
-Battery life because of lower resolution display, as well as ever so slightly larger battery
-CPU performance and heat dissipation(though I'm not quite sure about the latter)
                -Speed of wired charging
-PRICE. Undeniably S10+ will be better-rounded device than P30 Pro, but it can be also substantially more expensive assuming that leaked information is correct.

I want to buy the S10 but saving up. I am wondering what the P30 would be better at than the S10, apart from the zoom and maybe better low light.

The S10 would have non-propreitory expandable storage, the best screen, superb choice of video codecs, great UI, better after sales, the fastest wireless charging around, excellent water and dust resistance, the best selfie camera around, the best ultra wide right now, excellent video quality, best stabilization in a smartphone (though at 1080p), headphone jack with excellent sound quality, excellent battery management etc

The P30 pro would be better at zoom (it may share the best zoom title with oppo), the best low light in a smartphone (it already has the best low light in a smartphone, so they may use a new sensor).

I am not too happy with the choice of the old sensor (if it is the same old one). I was hoping for a new sensor.

I am not sure or Huawei after sales and the proces across different countries are too random and erratic. Plus the exchange offers for S10 are pretty amazing.

                    And sony's design looks too generic/not special/plain.
Sony have to learn more from korea and china. Maybe employing china/korea designers will help them.

Can see Huawei becoming number one in the not too distant future. Bringing out better handsets and undercutting the big guns samsung and apple on price.
Think more people these days are realising Flagship phones are over priced and wait for the cost to come down OR buy a Huawei flagship where the price is already down.

Ok, my old S7 do a dual video mode, but the innovation is better on Huawei's side.
Updates are faster on Huawei. Thumbs up. :)

wow. it is interesting to see that Chineese brands are not the copy cats anymore, but the innovators
however, I think a stereoscopic camera solution would be more useful/interesting

What a Gorgeous Piece of Art (Design & Techniques). I Was Feeling That Huawei Will Surprise the Whole World With the New P Series Championship. The Most Beautiful Design I Have Ever Seen Next to My Current 2 Years Old Galaxy Note7.

Looks like, beyond Note 9 and Mate 20 Pro that I have now, very difficult to upgrade to another sheet seeing all these average very minor list of features that we might use in our real life (ToF magic is fine but I don't think I would be willing spend for another mobile in the next 18 months to 24 months). May be wait until 5G rollouts.
