That looks kinda cute imo lol

Except for Huawei's. Why anyone would put the screen on the outside is a mystery.

Plus, I like seeing Japanese makers get back in the smartphone market. Now, if only Fujitsu tried the same way Sharp does.

IMO, Sharp and Motorola (Lenovo) are missing the point. Unfolded, the phones are still too big to use, but too small to be a tablet. Folded, they're too small to be useful. So really, they're solving zero problems with their design choices. At least with Samsung's Fold, it's small enough folded to use one-handed with a decent-sized screen (although it should either be bigger or the bezels should be smaller), and when it's unfolded, manages a tablet-size screen. The Mate X is a miss too because you basically have a tablet that unfolds into another tablet, there's no pocketability nor ease of one-handed use in any configuration.

But since 2016 Sharp belongs to Foxconn, so we will see what future brings.

Samsung is really the king of smartphones

Sharp is not a popular phone brand, but anyone who has used some of their phones will tell you how satisfying their phones are. Their hardware quality is practically on the same level as Sony phones. I've had the pleasure of using some of their phones, and i was mostly pleased with the experience.

Oh, and they're also trend-setters. They were the first with a bezel-less phone (Aqous Crystal, all the way back in 2014). They were also one of the earliest ones to offer IP certification on most of their phones. A really respectable phone company overall (although they make a lot more than just phones).
