I just simply said a phone is Chinese(as in the place it made) without implying it quality or whatsoever. In fact,the quality is very good. Why people still think that way?!!! Ughhhh. Whenever someone said 'chinese' people in the comment section be triggered like, "No, Chinese phone is high quality. Blablablabla...." -_-. Bruhh..no one said it low quality or cheap. Luxor, 27 Mar 2019Wow. Why are you triggered? First of all there a flaw in yo... moreI'm just wondering where the whole "nokia = chinese = trash" come from, since it's massively relayed on the comments here. It's strange since all smartphone are manufatured in asia, or in east of Europe.
I used the argument saying HMD= chinese to explain why this statement also apply to Apple, Sony, Microsoft, Motorola, BlackBerry, and well, every phone "maker" (should says designer then). And only then I pointed out this argument is also false since Foxconn is taiwanese and not chinese (but it's true they have manufacturing plants in China, and in a lot of other countries where workforce is cheap). So no flaw in what I said, it's just saying the argument is not consistent and then, even if it was, the information is basically not correct.
Sorry to have quoted you then, I didn't catch the nuance in your first comment where you said HMD phones were designed in Finland and therefore were finnish and not chinese.

By your logic, Apple which works with Foxconn to manufacture their iPhone is then a Chinese company, the one is US would just be administration?
But if you have sources about Foxconn, that is taiwanese by the way and not chinese, designing Nokia's phone, please, feel free to share. But they are just a manufacturing (from latin manufactura: work done by hand) company, not a design company. Foxconn just got the blueprint and do what it's asked on it. And they do this for a lot of brands, including HMD, Apple, Sony, and for phone, TV, console etc.
