I mean, they share similarities across the board after all, especially when it comes to the design and the camera setup, despite OxygenOS being the clear winner in terms of the user interface

A rebranded Oppo with an increased price. But without the new features as the periscope camera. Without wireless charging, without microSD card, without.... without.... A base phone but more expensive than the Xiaomi ones now and even with worse cameras than Xiaomi. Lul

Let's hope the new phone will get both positioning systems GPS and Galileo, both with dual-band for a better accuracy especially in a urban environment. Colors are nice but not so important.

Oneplus no longer a budget flagship. Trying too hard at giving their all. This definitely doesn't look cheap. Just the storage option already shows how expensive it will be.

Looking mighty fine so far by outer appearance. Colours are also a very needed fresh breath of air that hopefully passes through other companies' sketchboards.

Whackcar, 26 Mar 2019I don't think so. There will indeed be a price hike, but it... more6t already $650 in my country, base specs. And with the Mclaren Edition that priced at $7++ recently, they slowly hiking the price.
Still with those design, camera setup, top performance, Oxygen OS (especially) at $700, was not too bad.
