S10 is a pile of shite when it come to battery life :(

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2019Do you have a S10 or just badmouth? Go to the XDA forum and... moreon rooted devices with everything stopped? custom rom? Definitely not on stock.
Check out Xiaomi Mi 9 for example with 3300mAh battery and compare that to any S10/S10+ reviews...pathetic battery life!

Samsung proudly claiming about "enhancing features" when for example you can't even get into the TESTING RADIO menu mode(*#46363#*#*) on a Note9 anymore...
When connecting to Wi-Fi with my Note4 & Note9 side-by-side, the Note4 always wins by a few seconds...

Samsung is going downhill and I wish I had the IR blaster instead of the iris scanner..

That's what I call "LIMITING FEATURES"... but Samsung's thinking has this the other way around...

BUT to be fair we should allow a few days after an update to pass, as things might need to get cashed again after updates)

Well at first I thought it was a cool feature and was looking forward to in when I got my pie update on s9, but in the end it actually made my worse battery stamina with it enabled then with it off or compared to old Oreo..

Was really disappointed in the end.. so I have it off until further notice..

February patch made Pie somewhat more tolerable regarding battery life, but still not like on oreo and OST. Now March update (have it 2days) and I have to stay its finally getting back to Oreo OST. Still not better then oreo though.. I mean I expected to get the same 7-8hrs ost or preferably extra 1hr more not lose 1hr.

Atm it's around the same , so good 7hr ost..

Will try this ai again with March update if Samsung got their shit together..

The app launching behavior sound a lot like branch prediction in x86 processesor, with the different being instead of predict next instructions to load in memory it predict the next app to load

I only have 2 hopes with this:-

                      1. I hope they don't upload the statistics/ data to their servers for whatever purpose.
(No Samsung, you don't use my internet for your purposes)

                      2. I hope this is the solution for the infamous "Battery life" bug that's been plauging new S10's.
In other words, maybe there's a need to recheck few days after, and not on a new phone.

                      3. GSMArena might need to redo the battery life test on the S10 series after few days? :D

and yet, all the S10 models battery life is NOT good! nice try Shamesung

The idea is fine ESPECIALLY if it also kills all their own bloat, but that would be a little optimistic to hope for I guess....

I hope this works at the same optimum efficiency on older flagships like the Note9 and S9/S9+.

Now this is a very smart use of AI
