Wrinkles, creases, mini pot-holes?
These are obvious flaws evident on a unfinished yet hyped up product...hence why Huawei's MateX is years ahead from the future...
Back in the day 1st gen products were usually made to last, now it's the total opposite.
Instead of buying the Samsung Note, might as well wait for the king to rise, the Note 4.

Samsung devices (top end ones) suffer badly to image burn as it is with normal brightness.
How are these going to stand up using 70%+ ???

The last Oracle, 28 Mar 2019If the Samsung Fold has visible wrinkles then those on the ... moreThanks to the nature of folding outward, the radius of curvature is bigger putting far less stress on the screen, and so, less "wrinckles".
In fact the folding outward is the logical and technically the best solution to fold a screen. But it's not the practical solution because the phone will then need to be put on a pouch to be protected. Well, I know a lot of people that already do this with their actual smartphone because case and tempered glass are ugly af but it's another matter.
When I say it's technically the best, I don't mean it's the best solution for a phone, only that at our actual level of knowledge, it is the best way to fold a screen without sacrificing too much thickness. It's not ridiculous. Given the fact that the radius of curvature should be big enought, folding outward is the first solution that comes to mind.
Don't forget the issue with Surface book that have proly the same kind of hinge that the galaxy fold: A lot of dust and bigger particules (or small pieces like a single key) can go between the two screens, and we can expect some scratches where the 2 screens meet. Time will tell.

If the Samsung Fold has visible wrinkles then those on the Huawei, Xiaomi, Sharp etc will be like 1000% of those on the Samsung, considering the ridiculous nature of Folding Outwards.
The only thing I find less than perfect about the Samsung Fold is the lack of perfect symmetry. Otherwise it is a great idea focusing on battery life, screen quality and screen quality preservation, excellent design and good specs. Plus a plethora of cameras.

To be honest I'd rather pay for a hybrid between the S10+ and a laptop. I'd want querty buttons instead of a wrinkle in the middle of the display..

60E[z], 27 Mar 2019I saw sharp's foldable in gsma few days ago. I dont remembe... moreNotch is to remind you its gimmick. Open 3 apps in split screen view.
But i am not impress, until Android Q. When they make multi-resume compulsory. Then my dream of playing 3 games at once! So give it 2 more years.. then i will look into folding phones. When Samsung decide to update their OS.

When you're buying this you're buying luxury, not quality.
If you're not an early adopter, stay wise and wait until they make a true foldable phone.
Until then, a normal hinge with 2 screens and small bezels seems to be a better design.

And about samsung... well.. the huge enormous notch is a big letdown. I hate it.
It is a foldable, why the notch is still there?

Most phone only go above 70% brightness outdoor. You'd go blind fast with screen that bright indoor.

Ugliest foldable i've ever seen. And there is a useless huge notch in the screen.
Huawei's, xiaomi's, and sharp's foldables are more beautiful than this.

On my Note 8 I have the brightness at about 15-20%.
70% would blast my eyeballs out, unless these screens aren't as bright as Samsungs usually are.

Lol "the crease is less visible with the brightness set on 70% or above" that's ridiculous. Brightness only should be that high when you're facing direct sunlight on the screen. On every other occasion that's to bright. No the crease of the Samsung Galaxy Fold isn't better than the Mate X, while the Samsung design is way worse.
