Hildr, 28 Mar 2019It's the fastest selling among V-series phone. Only a Vivo ... moreLol you are technically right, but that maths cannot apply on a brand like Vivo which has been selling in millions for a long time now, in India at least. They have been like the top 3 or 4 for a long time now

Walter C. Dornez, 27 Mar 2019I'm always confused with these kinds of news. Like sometime... moreIt's the fastest selling among V-series phone. Only a Vivo V can have this title, since it's a ranking only between vivo-V phones.
Plus, they increased their sales by 60%. But if you sell 30 000 phone one year, then 50 000 phone next year, you'll get an increase of 66%, the market on the other hand, is more like millions unit, so the 14% increased market can be far more unit than the increase in the Vivo sales. In fact, without number of sales, those 60% can even be a bad number regarding the 14% market growth.
So yeah, you can do this kind of news pretty easily and have all phones be the best selling phone, it is just a choice of ranking parameters.
I do not disregard Vivo here, just explaining math can be easily used as we want to say anything. I do like this V15 =)

Tbh, their Y series is the only one most appealing to people looking budget or midranger phone. V series quite pricey and a little bit more feature but not really worth what it offer other than good camera. Like this V15 Pro offer only SD675 for that price (above $400) you can buy a decent flagship or SD710 device at least.

Walter C. Dornez, 27 Mar 2019Yeah, they must be getting a lot of moneyThey must be swimming in those money that they got. But they still have to be careful, however. Crossing the pricing borderline and Vivo will be screwed by Xiaomi.

Vivo phones are very cheap and offers value for money in India, but once it crosses those borders the price becomes very expensive, unlike Xiaomi.
