There is a big bummer, picture aspect ratio for 40MP is 4:3 and the popular 16:9 is available only in 6MP resolution. However Samsung gives 16:9 in 9.1MP. Also, Nano sim card of 128MB by Huawei is three times expensive than normal micro SD card. No earphone Jack.

Troller, 31 Mar 2019To be fair (s10 owner here btw), p30 do have it's pros. And... moreSure P30 has its pros. No doubts about is. But it has too many drawbacks at the same time. Far too many for the price tag. This is what I'm talking about.
I'd describe Huawei flagship phones as bloody useless crappy Russian Lada cars painted in gold and powered with Lamborghini engine inside. Heaps of power but no brains and everything else what Lamborghini car should have.

To be fair (s10 owner here btw), p30 do have it's pros. And so far, all 7nm performs pretty close to each other, give or take a few milisec diff from each other, so i dont really see that affecting real world usage. So just go with whichever that interest you, dont think you can be wrong with either if it suits your needs.

pajson89, 29 Mar 2019great price for both p30 and p30 proOverpriced rubbish. Deal with it :).

That's the fact. I can buy Galaxy S10e for NZ$900 right now which is NZ$199 less than hit & miss, full of compromises Huawei P30 which even not available yet here before April 15. So good luck with P30 with missing features. Cheers!

I don't think so! Oh, I forgot to mention quite poorly done EMUI, pretty crappy-crap to be precise and again, impossibility to change it doe to locked bootloader. Saying about Samsung, their UI is a way better, night and day.

Troller, 29 Mar 2019VectorR is right on all the missing specs of p30, however, ... moreTo be honest, the performance, speed and benchmarks is the last thing I'm worry about. To my personal opinion, old Galaxy S7 with "can't remember" Snapdragon and 4GB RAM is fast enough. I'm using the phone mostly for business, watching videos, listening music and photography. Hence why digitizer precision with perfect tactile sense, OS smoothness and responsiveness, properly working notification system, as well as reliable and excellent sound and camera system are important to me. I don't play games on smartphone (my PC does much better job here) or running heavy processing apps with myriads opened apps on background. So again, I DO MIND of missing specs I mentioned earlier for the money I pay! And I believe that NZ$1099 worth P30 must have everything. It is not cheap my any means to miss something. I literary can buy a car for this money in my country.

[deleted post]Guess what? Despite the S10+ performance has better specsheet & on benchmark, turns out the Kirin 980 + new Emui 9.1 are faster in real life.

Technically u got faster performance & camera goodies on P30 Pro, where S10+ doesnt have an answer.

VectorR is right on all the missing specs of p30, however, i dun think we should judge the processor base on the year of release, but on the process node that its build on instead, aside from gpu, kirin 980 actually has a much better cpu then exynos 9820 which is release 2019.
