rolandudv, 29 Mar 2019I don't know. I like Huawei as a whole, I just don't trust ... moreWhat are u talking about? The skin looks can always be customized. I myself using my own custom theme Sony Xperia 1 looks for EMUI 9 on my Mate 20.

Using Lawnchair V2 (with working Google Feed) + Xperia 1 icons & lockscreen + Power Shade notification - http://imgur.com/gallery/oBR5B75

And it doesnt need root.

I don't know. I like Huawei as a whole, I just don't trust them. And this happened long before the US started making a fiasco based on not-yet proven points. I never had faith in the company, even though I knew they were more than likely to be one of the top mobile players in the world.

Their hardware checks out, it's really great, but their software has a lot to be desired. I truly hate the way their skin looks on Android and the way they have literally ripped off many IOS designs and features and just straight up make me hate them even more for not willing to invest into at least re-designing it. (that 'share' menu is a 1:1 copy of IOS, I won't get over that, until it's redesigned)

To each their own I guess, I've only heard good stuff from my friends and family who used their devices, I personally just always had a negative impression of the company and their devices.

It is inevitable. Huawei and Xiaomi will eventually become the number one and number two phone manufacturers in the world, despite attempts by the US and its allies to hold them back.

On paper Huawei phones are great but EMUI is the only thing that's really holding their phones back, especially if you're coming from a Galaxy S phone or any other phone with stock or mostly stock Android. If they built a new simple, lightweight UI for their phones from the ground up like Samsung did I'd probably consider them as a real option

Shui8, 29 Mar 2019Actually i dont mind. Kirin 710 = SD660 performance. ... moreTheir upper midranger already equal price to some sd675 or sd710 device which is not really a good thing. They need something more powerful to compete with those chipset.

                          Kirin 710 = SD660 performance.

There are many SD660 flooded device on the market as well. Huawei/Honor use the same Kirin 710 on most of its mid range device, but differentiate its on pricing base on different camera setup, different storage/ram, a bit changes of design, different battery & screen size, here & there add on.

Because of that strategy Huawei are stand strong today, and i think they will keep it that way.

Good. Keep it up. Make sure to keep your spot away from Apple. Keep innovating and make more variety of chipset. I still don't understand how Huawei can sell plethora of Kirin 710 devices yet still called it midranger. From lower to upper midranger; all with the same chipset with different price point. Just need more variation in chipset that's all.

Happy so far user of P30 Pro, I think its a cutie and already on a business meeting yesterday got compliments about the phone.

One thing to say, they make damn good phones, really get value for the money and even better, they keep the speed and dont get laggy as Lagsung.
Keep up the good work Huawei.

                                    Congratulation Huawei
A few years ago people used to say chinese phones are crap and non innovative they do nothing but copy now they are dominating and moving towards the top in innovation and offering top for less
LG, HTC and Sony should take lesson from them

That's not surprising given their ridiculous pricing and the appalling number if people stupid enough to be scammed into buying their sugarcoated inferior products.
