i dont really see how this will be below iphones and samsung galaxy s and s2. this phone is heaps powerful. way over iphones and a bit over samsung galaxies.

i have with my galaxy s quadrand score 2125. i belive is something not right with that phone because my phone gas 1.0GHz single-core

And so, alas SonyE do it again...
They had a hit with the Arc last year, because it was a universally good handset design - it appealed to both male / female because of its curves, etc.
This year, they've taken a massive step back, churning out harsh, sharp rectangles that really will only appeal to the male contingent and with last year's specs... And just when you thought they had learned from 2-3 years ago...

GSMA have summed it up perfectly - and have echoed something I have said for months...
"You see, the Nozomi would be a fine competitor for the ultimate smartphone if it was released about six months ago, but given that it will only be announced now it will have a somewhat different mission."
You'll have Sammy / HTC / Moto all coming out in Summer with MASSIVE specs and to be fair all similar designs... WHY WOULD YOU GO FOR A MOBILE THAT HAS LAST YEAR'S SPECS?
And the most criminal thing about SonyE is that they appear to do this so that they can re-release the same phone with the 'S' at the end - giving it a speed boost a few months later... bad, bad, bad practice...
Just when I thought I might jump to SonyE for something 'different' they go and regress into the bland middle-of-the-road mobiles of 3 years ago...
Oh well, let's see what the rest come up with this year!

Having the most advanced hardware doesn't mean having the must performance as it is not only about hardware but also about tuning. As we know you can have 1000000 MPx camera and still have rubbish pictures and you can have a not so state of the art 8mpx or even 5mpx and have great shots.
will not buy this one as my arc is there to last but would sure love to have one!

it says one core because the second core had been inactive at the time of the benchmark , this happens a lot to mt GS2

Is only rumor but here is som new information maybe the nozomi isnt the real flagship theire is another one its called LT29i ( Hayabusy ) with a 4.55 inch screen with simmilar specification like the nozomi and Lt28a will be only for docomo and and AT T us version have a look at xperia blog com theire you can find that new information
